His wife screamed for their children, 8 and 12 years old, to get out of the house and run to a neighbor's. They did. Dr. Evans was pronounced de*d at the hospital. His wife is in critical condition. Police found Hemingway behind a nearby house with cuts on his hands. He is charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, burglary and criminal trespass. Back in February, court records show a woman came home from dropping her child at daycare and checked her Nest camera... and watched Hemingway, her former partner, FORCE HIS WAY into her home and steal her laptop and two iPhones. He was arrested in July. Two felonies. Burglary. Theft by unlawful taking. And what did Allegheny County do with a man charged with breaking into a woman's home? Released him THE NEXT DAY. Nonmonetary bond. $0. His court date for that burglary was October 1st. He never made it there. Instead, prosecutors say, he found another window and m*rdered this young doctor. Say his name. Dr. Idris Evans. Please pray for his wife and their two kids.
