Air Quality Monitors
I just treated myself to a nice gift, I ordered the VisiblAir Model O, took advantage of the fact that it's 15% off this September.
It's not just a gift, it's a pure passion for ventilation and air quality.
This monitor does CO2, PM2.5, Humidity, TVOC and NOx. I plan to compare it to the AirGradient I just received, which also monitors the same things.

I don't want to announce results with a lot of fanfare. Over the coming months I'm going to test it and use it in different ways. It'Airs not easy to test without an expensive reference instrument. One of the things to look at is reactivity to pollutants and how well the levels are able to come back down after ventilation (for gases) or purification (for PM).
I might start with 2 simple videos, one where I release a gas into the air (could be mosquito repellent spray), the other PM (with ultrasonic humidifier), to see how this device behaves compared to the others on my list.
There's also CO2, which is interesting to compare.

I also want to use it in a test chamber to evaluate the effect of a carbon filter on TVOC, HCHO and NOx. I'm going to build an air purifier with an AC Infinity 6 inch carbon filter that I'll mount with Sickleflow 120 PC fans.
