Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair was told by an NFL official to remove the name of Wafaa Akila, an 8-year-old Palestinian girl killed in Gaza, from his eye black during the Texans’ Week 2 game or he would not be allowed to continue playing, according to a league source.
According to Reuters, Wafaa Akila was killed earlier this month by an Israeli airstrike.

Cutting the gas tax would cost the state 90 million dollars per month (according to reporting by the Post & Courier) with no end to the Iran War in sight. Just 3 months of no gas tax would create an almost 300 million dollar black hole in the state’s budget.
Agreed. I just traveled across South Carolina calling for the gas tax to be suspended. No one should have to choose between putting food on the table and filling up their tank.
This moment demands an all-of-the-above approach and all hands on deck to bring down costs for South Carolinians.
