Cell phone addiction is an absolute thermonuke to the brain and nobody 'takes it seriously' because it is not clear that there is any solution in a world where the revealed preference of everyone across the globe, regardless of income, race, age, any factor whatsoever, would rather be on their phone than do *anything* else. Deciding "I use this too much" and meaningfully altering one's behaviour doesn't seem to have much success for any of the very small minority of people with the sentience or self-reflection to realize how bad it is. Most people seem to think of it as an unproductive habit at most, rather than an addiction. Any attempt to speak seriously about this is met with derision, accusations of pretentiousness. There is no real solution to it. The future of human cognition fifty years down the line is horrifying if you stop and think about it for even a moment.

As an elder millennial who watched us spend 20 years fighting the taliban to give Afghanistan to the taliban, these retards can get fucked, kit up, and deploy themselves.
We need to go into Iran. Seize the oil fields. Remove the regime. Do it quick and with precision and have a new government ready to take over. This should have been done months ago.

I cannot wait for republicans to lose midterms due to this messaging strategy.
I’m gonna piss some people off with this one, but if you’ve got money for beer, cigarettes, DoorDash, and all the other crap you don’t need, don’t tell me you can’t afford gas. Gas prices suck, but sometimes it ain’t the price—it’s what you choose to spend your money on.

Europeans and Canadians be like "do a racism go to jail, be a retard we are going to kill you"
A two-year-old child in the Netherlands recently became the first to be euthanized by the state, after a new law legalized the lawful killing of children up to twelve years old. The child was severely disabled, and had impaired motor and behavioral skills. However, his condition was not degenerative, and did not impact his lifespan. Still, his parents — along with doctors — decided, without his consent, to kill him. We should mention: information on this case is sparse, as the Dutch government has strict laws on revealing patient data; although some sources have referred to the child as a boy. This instance has led to a dialogue on social media, as anti-abortion activists have cited it as evidence of the fundamental cruelty of abortion, and the natural conclusions of the abortion movement.

Master Chief is the closest thing today's Western male generation has to a mythical hero, an Achilles for the modern age. A symbol of unabashed heroism, victory, and fortitude delivered through the right medium at the right time in history. What Lord of the Rings did in film, Halo did in video games. The history of media for the last century has been two converging lines on a graph. A quality of writing and talent slowly declining while technology steadily improves. The convergence of these two points occurred in 2001, the apex of technology just before a cataclysm of organic thought and meta analysis would wreak havoc on mass consciousness. Just as there have been better acted and better written films than Lord of the Rings, there were smarter and tighter video games than Halo. And just as special effects allowed much more possibilities for films since, so too have major developments in video game development exceeded what Halo achieved graphically and mechanically. However, neither medium has had the capability to leverage creative force like these two cultural touchstones could. Large productions like these had talented heavyweights working swiftly under deliberate direction in a political and cultural realm that had only barely begun to impinge on creative decision making. Even if there's a few good people who still haven't forgotten how to make media like this and a few more who relearn quickly, there's too many others standing in their way now. Technology has made us stupid. Bureaucracy and ideological warfare has crippled us. Decadence has softened and rotted our backbone. Decay has demoralized us. Our generation lives in the dying embers of a great empire, a carcass bleeding out from a great wound. 2001 was the final year of Pax Americana and the turning point for Western society. Something shifts from mundane exception into mythologized lore only after it's gone from this earth. Just as a great man can only become legendary after he dies, a great culture and a mythical figure can only come from hyperbolization within the imagination. When the thing is real and in front of you, it is only an act in the physical world. A movie on a poster, a video game on a disc, a product to be consumed. It is a child's plaything, something drawn in school notebooks and consumed mindlessly. Only after so many years of adolescent tribulation and an adult life of mundane scruples do we look back at a clip of Halo, a familiar chant and orchestral chorus, a man clad in green armor, a war of cosmic destiny, and a backdrop of nature juxtaposed against vast incalculably large technology. We see a myth being built in real-time. Yesterday's favorite toy. Today's meme edits and hype inspo. Tomorrow's ancestrally passed down epic saga. A select number of stories and characters benefited from being released right around 9/11. Trauma is a wound of consciousness, and wounds are openings which allow something to be let in. As glowy spooks learned 75 years ago, traumatizing a person is the first step to programming their consciousness. 9/11 was America's most traumatic event and only through sheer luck did a few pieces of media cement themselves into our souls by releasing right after the towers fell. Time has proven that Halo is the strongest of those, a warrior's myth embedded in young male minds to be the spirit of our age. Of course, as a result of emerging in the wake of 9/11, Halo leaned into being military propaganda. The War on Terror allowed the franchise to continue uninterrupted, a several hour recruitment ad with the country's most beloved hero named after a literal Navy rank. Earth's greatest warrior at the highest noncommissioned enlisted rank a sailor can achieve. The galaxy's most accomplished E-9, enjoys nothing except his duty, never takes leave, is always either fighting or sleeping in a tube waiting for the next mission. While I'm sure there were more than a few enlisted recruits thinking about Halo deathmatch games while gunning down goat farmers in Kandahar, the Gulf War on Terror was a fleeting moment in time in history which will barely cling onto the cultural impact Halo will have had over the next decades, if not centuries. The story's timelessness removes it from any meaningful political context. The symbolism is familiar enough to be applied to any number of contemporary conflicts, while vague enough to shed them the moment we lose fixation on current events. Ultimately, Halo adheres to the cosmic existential conflict. The story is about all of humanity banding together against a truly alien foe for total survival. It's about unearthing prehistoric artifacts delivered from a grand higher race in order to save the universe itself from being consumed by the maw of a hideous all-subsuming horde. Bungie's legacy of storytelling even at the time of the game's development was quite impressive. They would repeatedly build upon their foundation of lore from games like Pathways into Darkness and Marathon, loosely reviving the same figures and factors in the Halo franchise to tell a rhyming story. In PiD/Marathon, the enlightened Jjaro benefactors became the Forerunners. A ghost of a more advanced age delivering humanity to salvation through whispered guidance. If the writers were truly allowed to run free and cement the story they had been building towards, it would have been revealed in Halo 3 that an unearthed Forerunner coffin revealed a human skeleton. This would have elevated the franchise into something truly immortal, a subconscious impulse towards a deeply embedded truth emerging through creative fiction. A world of buried history and wisdom from an enlightened ancestral civilization. Our species playing around and tinkering in the ruins of what they left behind, unearthing their secrets and mimicking a fraction of their capabilities. Unfortunately, the series began during the apex of the cultural convergence point for media and the story never was allowed to reach its conclusion to a clearly superior plot decision. A similar fate happened to Mass Effect where it would be revealed the reapers' motives were to prepare for an extragalactic cosmic threat. What makes the Halo franchise so powerful is a setting and premise which eschews all human conflicts in favor of a grand eternal conflict in which all humans are on one single side against an alien enemy. This allows for timelessness. Even in the Iliad, there were heroes for both Greeks and Trojans. An Achilles and a Hector to choose from depending on which ethnic substrate you belong to and wish to admire the most. The only people who could hate Master Chief are people who hate being people entirely. An enemy of humanity is a clear foe of which its eradication can be universally sympathized with. Of course, despite being framed as humanity's warrior, Master Chief is still a hero for Western civilization above all else. His name is John, the most common name in the West. He has a white man's name and sounds white. He's in the military, the UNSC. Despite the framing of being a sailor in the "United Nation's Navy" and the myriad of diverse foreign blending in the names and appearances of his comrades, it's symbolically implied that essentially, America is the world in the Halo setting. John Halo Master Chief Super Spartan is a white American guy with a white American voice. He's a hero for humanity, but really, he's a hero for the Western young male, and really, he's a hero for the young white American man who grew up during the golden age of console video games. He's so pure and perfect that he won't even allow himself to adhere to the fabled destiny of all men and shackle himself into inevitable softening and decay with a woman so that he may pass on his lineage. His only waifu is a purple computer lady who's always permanently in her early 20s and always naked with the exact perky tits and ass a woman's supposed to have. Master Chief is 7 feet tall, jacked as shit, peak human capacity with a cool ass gravelly voice, and has absolutely zero personality beyond being really serious about killing his enemies. Everyone he encounters is shocked, amazed, in awe, in fear of him, loves him, and defers to his presence. Essentially, Master Chief and his world contains the most refined platonic ideal of every heroic archetype developed over the past several thousand years. He is a hero polished to the furthest degree of what a hero can be, absolutely zero attempt at humanizing or subverting his character into some grounded flaw. His ups and downs are literally directly tied to whether he's failing or succeeding in the moment along his journey to ultimate victory. A character like Master Chief could not be made today. The closest analog to a legendary mysterious space warrior in green armor with no face is the modern interpretation of the Doomguy, now the Doomslayer. With his big edgy muscles and murderous appetite for demon gore, he parades around in some martian science facility with quirky little alarms heralding his presence and dork men in lanyards pissing their pants and announcing how scary and powerful he is in the same hackneyed overselling you get from John Wick movies. And even after one reboot game, ID software completely shit themselves and turned the character into a Reddit joke with his gay little record collection and funko pop collection and bachelor pad in space with colorful beep boop trinkets and Donkey Kong platformer mechanics. Let's not even bring up the asinine direction of revealing his face, giving him a tragic backstory and some convoluted alien heaven gladiator plot or whatever the fuck they're doing in the new games. Halo's simplicity stands in stark contrast to the modern video game. It's not the most sophisticated media and not even technically the best by any measure of writing or art, but it shouldn't and fundamentally cannot be. To become so huge and impactful, a piece of media must balance between its artistic integrity and its ability to leverage mass appeal. Like a great leader who uses clear simple words when he gives speeches to a crowd, something like Halo requires a perfectly efficient delivery to connect to as many people as possible without fundamentally betraying the sophisticated foundations which led to its creation. Bungie took inspiration from a myriad of science fiction. The works of Larry Niven, Frank Herbert, Harlan Ellison, Robert Heinlein, Joe Haldeman, John Steakley, and Iain Banks are all in the DNA of Bungie's game lore. Yet, they showed restraint and reduced their more headier concepts from Marathon when constructing the Halo setting. Of course, Halo is a product and needed to make money, and I'm sure Microsoft's acquisition created a degree of pressure in simplifying the story for mass appeal. But the ability to present the story in a way which still allows them to play with the loftier concepts while still adhering to a classic heroic structure comes from a deft hand and genuine artistic skill lost on today's generation of creators. Modern games are already simply struggling to survive the various pressures from the acronyms of mediocrity which cut down their momentum before it can even begin. Have you somehow managed to dodge Blackrock inserted DEI advisor forcing you to place a black woman somewhere in the game to admonish your protagonist and act superior to him? Great, now try to figure out how to prevent your modeling and design team staffed entirely by H1B's from turning your whole aesthetic into a technicolor ChatGPT greebled slopfest with nebula clouds and epic!!!! neutered PG-13 explosions. At the end of it all, you'll still be stuck with a director who's got a gun pointed at his head forcing him to stuff the game with microtransactions and add fifteen different fetch quest/find-em-all tedious side grinds to needlessly expand your gameplay by 50 hours while baiting your fat stupid customer base's attention and time with arbitrary dopamine farming level grinds for mechanics that should've been included at the beginning of the game. And what do you get at the very end of it, assuming you survive all of that in your production process? Something written cheaply by people who, at worst, were nepo-baby diversity hires inserting in asinine quip filled dialogue, or at best, well-intentioned dork men who have no real life experience or inspiration to draw from beyond other video games they've played. The best we can do is "heavy storytelling" in glorified interactive movies where there's always a character flaw, always a grounded human sub-theme, always some fucking stupid ass emotional arc that involves characters culminating in an heated shouting argument to pivot into a kindred connection moment paired with shitty emotional cue music before a call to action. These tropes are shitty imitations of what games like Halo nailed beforehand. Unfortunately, it's a curse of truly innovative unique creations that they'll bring forth a slew of shitty imitators which drive the trend into the ground and stain the legendary predecessor to those who didn't experience it organically for the first time. You could really point the finger at Halo for setting up hundreds of games trying to be more cinematic over the next two decades after its release. Yet, those games couldn't accomplish what Halo did because they both failed to understand the nuances behind Bungie's creative decisions and they were burdened by the imitational insecurity that wrought the 2000s with a curse of irony, parody, and self-reference. Halo is a product of the end of an era where being cool could be something done sincerely without pretension or irony. Master Chief is the coolest character in the coolest video game during the last time anything could be cool before our entire culture was marred by a brown smear that will take decades to wash off. Putting aside all the human heroes of (relatively) more grounded modern settings like in GTA, COD, etc, there were a few contemporary video game action heroes during the 2000's which could have been held in equal esteem. Marcus Fenix, Kratos, Ezio Auditore, Commander Shepherd, etc. For a while, at least on the more PC game side of the internet, it seemed like Gordon Freeman from Half Life was equally as legendary a character as Master Chief. Having traded facelessness for voicelessness, it was easy to imprint upon a blank slate character defined almost entirely the actions of the player. Yet, none of them won like Master Chief did. You talk to any guy who grew up playing these games, none of them will talk about any other video game character with the reverence they do for Master Chief. Despite having his legacy dragged through several generations of incompetent writing and mediocre sequels nobody really internalizes as "canon" Halo storytelling, Master Chief stands tall as the most important video game character in history. More than that, Master Chief has now become a symbol crystallized in young male consciousness, a hero for modern Western civilization. You can see it in the edits and memes that come out now. Already dated and trite, the classic Zyns + White Monster + Butt rock combo of wigger motif'd nostalgia for what the 90s regarded as a cultural regression. Limp Bizkit and Creed songs, the smell of Blockbuster and dirt bikes in the back yard. Infrared footage from helicopter gunners in Iraq, Dale Earnhardt, cigarettes smoked with pride, a boxy Chevrolet ad, carpet floors and popcorn ceilings, George W. Bush and Britney Spears. At the center of it all, Master Chief. As much as these trends will come and go and the nostalgia will fade into a forgotten brief quirky era of memetic recursion, I predict the Chief will survive. Even Gen Alpha kids who never grew up to know what the '07 console era was like will intuitively pick up on the symbol of Master Chief, a universally appealing power armor visor guy who simultaneously appears out of place and yet somehow extremely fitting in any setting he's juxtaposed in. Perhaps Halo and its symbolism wouldn't surpass a century of generational drift, but traces of it will persist. Much like in the games, Master Chief's greatest skill is that he's a survivor. He'll stand alone when everyone else has fallen. By his side are tidbits of media, some of the most memorable soundtracks, scenes, and quotes in video game history and some of the greatest marketing campaigns known to man. Even someone who has not and will never play a Halo game will discover the Halo ODST commercial, a bite sized short film depicting a Starship Troopers-esque life arc of a boy turned dropship trooper against an alien foe. The legendary Halo theme will continue to persist through memes, references, and callbacks as a genuinely iconic song that embeds itself in the memory on the same level of recognizable significance. As Star Wars has its John Williams orchestra motifs, so too does Halo have its chants, piano, and electric guitars. Time will tell how long Master Chief survives ignited in cultural consciousness. It's the fate of all things to be buried in the substrates as time mercilessly folds our legacy into the earth. Only a select few things get to survive by name for thousands of years. Most of the great works that get to survive that long have to contend with having their symbols warped and subsumed into different stories with different names and faces, only revealing bare hints of their trace origin in the rhyming of the story. Maybe Master Chief won't become warped into a pantheonic god of a new religion for the feralized survivors of the lost last Americans. Maybe he might. Whether he is the next great Achilles of a rapidly technological generation of humanity's future symbiosis with the Network hivemind or simply just a green coffin for our empire's golden age, one thing is certain: Master Chief is the greatest hero and Halo is the greatest epic available to the young modern man.

Trump loves this guy btw. The bestest goy presidency.
For the groypers/gropers, bots, low IQ crowd, and pedos, this won't matter, but to you patriots out there, this is for you: I continue to support using units within the special forces or 82nd Airbourne that are specifically trained to remove uranium, if that is what is needed to protect our country from the Iranian regime developing nuclear weapons in the future.  The president was actively considering it as well.  Obviously, it is entirely up to him.  I oppose sending tens of thousands of ground troops into Iran.  And that has absolutely nothing to do with what I was talking about.  Now, this is what I said (go to the videotape if you like, we posted it in its entirety several times and Mr. Producer even provided a transcription).  You can also find numerous times where I underscored that we do not need to send tens of thousands of ground forces.  I could not be clearer.  Gaetz chooses to ignore all the public information that proves it, and there is a lot.  My radio audience has also heard me say it repeatedly.   If someone purposely and repeatedly lies about this, his intentions are not to have a rational discussion but to attack and smear and libel.  If I supported sending ground troops into Iran, I would say so and give my reason.  There would be lots of video of my saying that lots of time.  Again, twisting or ignoring exactly what I said and the specific context is to purposely lie and repeatedly lie.  It is pathological.  To then accuse me, out of left field, of being a "neocon" doing Israel's bidding and all the usual bigoted crap, etc., on top of the lying about what I said, demonstrates a complete lack of character and an attempt to gaslight people and deceive and mislead them.  Then he wants to debate.  Debate what?  That he's lying about what I said and believe, that I am Jewish and I am not an operative for Israel, and on and on?  I want to debate Bernie Sanders, AOC, Jamie Raskin, Chris Van Hollen, etc.  I am not going to waste my time to platform and promote backbenchers and reprobates who crave attention.  Gaetz is not the first, but he is certainly among the worst.  Meanwhile, I am still waiting for the long list of "neocons" urging the president to send ground troops into Iran.  There may be some, but such a movement simply does not exist. As for Gaetz's credibility, all you need to do is inform yourself.  There is a great deal of public information on the guy and it's awful, starting with his ethics report.  But it doesn't end there.   He can defend himself against each and every charge in the ethics report, if he can.  Nobody is stopping him.  Or statements by former colleagues that he photos of naked girls/women to them on the House floor, but he does not.  Or provide information that counters all the receipts, payments, and other documents proving his transactions and other activities.  Or challenge any of the testimony that was provided to the Ethics Committee or sue the individuals or their false statements.  Instead, he's blowing smoke and throwing shiny objects all over the place.  If you defend him and what he did, there's nothing else to say.  The guy is literally worse than Eric Swalwell, who is an appalling individual. I know he will continue to lash out.  He's not a victim.  He's a perpetrator.  He should show some remorse, contrition, or shame.  Most people will accept that.  But he won't.  So be it.  Enough is enough. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Shapiro’s ideology makes a lot more sense if you understand it as a ChatGPT-esque AI bot, but trained entirely on 2003-era GOP talking points and ignorant of everything that happened since. It all sounds nice, until you talk to anyone normal and see it’s completely divorced from actual reality. The American Dream WAS a promise that if you worked hard, you could make it no matter the circumstances you were born into. But that promise has been inaccessible to tens of millions for decades, due in large part to policies Shapiro himself pushed. Take mass immigration, for example. “I don't give a good damn about the so-called 'browning of America,’” he said in 2017, as the country was flooded with third-world H-1Bs and refugees from the Middle East wars he demanded. And before he comes in and says he was only talking about the need to care about ideology more than ethnicity, the third-world only has one ideology: the ideology that elects people like Zohran Mamdani to loot people like me. There are no Zohran Mamdanis without mass immigration. But the problem is even bigger than that. White men in this country have been systematically locked out of the American dream for decades. They fought its wars and forcibly bailed out its corrupt bankers only to find themselves passed over for job after job because they didn’t pass corporate America’s diversity tests. And the free market? A market that allows the mass importation of low-cost slave labor subsidized by its country of origin for the purpose of boxing out the men whose families built the nation and died for its freedom isn’t free in any meaningful sense. Or let’s talk about housing. The American Dream WAS the idea that if you worked hard enough and saved, you could buy a house near your parents and grandparents. You kid raise your kids watch them ride their bikes down the street to Grandma and Grandpa’s house. Your kids might even go to college one day. After decades of artificially easy money, which simultaneously ballooned housing prices while making the dollars those men saved worth less and less, those homes are now beyond unaffordable. They’ll never be able to save the money necessary for the down payment, let alone afford the mortgage payment. And forget about retirement. The manufacturing base that made careers at and pensions from one company is long gone, sold to China, which immediately stole all the IP and then started dumping the same products, but of much lower quality, back into the U.S. at below-market prices, once again subsidized by one of America’s foremost global enemies. At least Wall Street got rich off the off-shoring of the American economy. And college? You can again forget about that. Good luck affording $50,000/year, assuming your child even gets admitted ahead of a blue-haired they/them or an illegal immigrant somehow getting subsidized in-state tuition, all for the privilege of your child being taught he’s racist and evil because of the color of his skin. And forget even discussing health care, the least-free free market in history. For those who are blessed enough to afford a home, you can guarantee their health insurance premiums alone are higher now than their mortgage payments. And that’s before the insane deductibles kick in. Does anybody believe in 2026 that if a straight, white, Christian man “works hard and makes smart and virtuous decisions” that he will be allowed to partake in the American Dream? Because if you believe that right now, you are nuts. Some may squeak through the cracks and make it big in spite of the filters designed to keep them out, but those are the exception, not the rule. Is the American Dream dead forever? Absolutely not. The solutions are actually really simple. But to get to the point where we can implement them requires us to tell the truth about the current situation rather than spewing nonsense about a country that hasn’t existed in decades. Shapiro says “this process requires free markets, free minds, equal justice before law, and social fabric.” The major markets in this country are not free. Free minds are systematically targeted and punished. Equal justice is a joke, and if you disagree, I have two words for you: Anthony Fauci. And the social fabric? It’s been ripped to shreds by fifty years of mass immigration of a magnitude that makes assimilation impossible. This is bigger than Shapiro, or Tucker, or Israel, or Iran, or whatever stupid pet issue or personality the eye-poppingly rich podcast class is currently obsessed with. Our country lives or dies based on how we address the very real problems that have put the American Dream far out of reach for most people in this country. What won’t solve those problems is lying about them and pretending everything is just fine using ridiculous talking points that bear zero resemblance to what’s actually happening on the ground in this country right now.
The American Dream is the promise of a process: if you work hard, and make smart and virtuous decisions, you will live a better life than your parents, and your children will live a better life than you do. That process requires free markets, free minds, equal justice before law, and social fabric. Government’s job is to protect the American Dream. Don’t listen to the demoralization agents trying to destroy it in the name of utopian schemes, Left and Right. youtube.com/watch?v=fqTkLH9c…
