FYI, now that my twitter and Mastodon are in the same app, I intend to make good on my vow to tweet less. I will still do the RT and ironic quote-tweet thang, because I like that. But from now on, most of my content will be on freeradical.zone/@objectinsp… See ya there!
Poking my head up to say that you can follow me on bluesky at prism@bsky.social. I still prefer Mastodon, but I also look at bluesky now so it is a valid way to contact me. Still not posting here for now though. <3 you all
1. TWITTER FILES PART 8
*How Twitter Quietly Aided the Pentagon’s Covert Online PsyOp Campaign*
Despite promises to shut down covert state-run propaganda networks, Twitter docs show that the social media giant directly assisted the U.S. military’s influence operations.
1/ HOT OFF THE PRESS -- a @Twitter-first press release:
*** A majority of Americans want @elonmusk to stay on as Twitter CEO, finds #HarrisX Overnight Poll.
*** 53% say Musk should stay on CEO of Twitter in statistically relevant findings of 1,028 gen pop respondents.
Hey @elonmusk, it’s unwise to run a poll like this when you are now deep state enemy #1. They have the biggest bot army on Twitter. They have 100k ‘analysts’ with 30-40 accounts all voting against you. Let’s clean up and then run this poll again. The majority has faith in you. 😘
Hm. It turns out that you can't deactivate your account if it gets suspended. You have to request that it be done for you. Pre-emptive deactivation may be my only recourse, then.

(Full disclosure: I am not this smart. I blatantly stole this take from a post on mastodon, which has many more examples and is better in every way. I would link to it for full atribution, only dear leader has determined that you shouldn't see such things. Still, 100% accurate.)
Deleting my DM's, which I think everyone should consider. Regardless of how one feels about twitter, there is little reason to keep them around and I no longer trust their infrastructure. Particularly in light of recent events. You'll need to request your archive to get them all.
