I’ve been away from #BSV for a while. After Craig’s court case, I stepped back, although I never deleted the work I had done. I simply moved on and gave away much of my access and involvement.
I’m now finding my way back in a different capacity.
I’m an artist, filmmaker, musician and writer. I’ve been teaching myself AI filmmaking, making my own films and music, writing scripts, winning awards and working with AI creative tools. I’ve also joined Repped, an AI artist-management and representation platform, and I’m interested in how BSV and AI can provide genuinely useful infrastructure for artists and creators.
So I’d like to ask the people here:
Which platforms and applications are still active, reliable and worth using today for artists, filmmakers, musicians and independent creators?
I’m particularly interested in tools that are:
• genuinely active rather than abandoned
• easy to use
• affordable or accessible to independent artists
• useful for film, music, visual art or creative intellectual property
• practical rather than overly complicated
• sustainable enough to build on
• ideally using BSV in a way that genuinely benefits the creator
The platforms I already know and am happy to put on the list are:

Treechat — yes
I’m deliberately asking the community because I don’t have time to investigate every application myself. I’d rather hear from people who are
actually using these platforms.
If you use something that you consider solid, healthy, easy to implement and genuinely useful for creatives, please recommend it and explain what you use it for.
I’m particularly interested in hearing from artists, filmmakers, musicians, writers and developers working with creatives.
I’m not looking to recreate what I was doing before. I’m exploring how I can bring the useful parts of BSV into the creative work I’m doing now — music, art, film and AI.

In the early BSV era, Creg signaled that BSV was going to moon and fast. He looked like he held all the cards. BSV looked ready to moon. It rugged.
In the post-COPA, Creg signals that BSV is not going up anytime soon. Creg is discredited to most. BSV looks to continue to rug, so it's probably to moon.

Creg is basically signaling to everyone to sell all your bsv, move to a 3rd world country, and argue with bots on the internet. If this is a multi decade scheme... why build anything now?

The theory that Satoshi Nakamoto is dead or has permanently lost access to his 1.1 million bitcoins is grounded in hard economic logic. This is not mere conspiracy theory, but the basic math of risk assessment.
No major institutional fund would pour billions of client dollars into an asset where a single unknown entity holds the power to crash the market by 80% at any moment. Wall Street's massive entry into Bitcoin signifies that their compliance and analytics departments assess the probability of these reserves ever moving as zero.
Add to this the absolute silence across these wallets since 2010. No living developer could have resisted moving at least a fraction of those funds for security or diversification purposes. These keys were either intentionally destroyed at launch to ensure the network's true decentralization, or they are lost forever. Paradoxically, it is precisely this permanently locked capital that now serves as the primary guarantor of liquidity and stability for the traditional financial system.

Good news and Bad News:
Good news first:
This will put Bitcoin front-and-center with major stars in a an actual, "big" movie (not just a documentary).
Doug Liman directs.
He did The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Edge of Tomorrow, and even Swingers (when I met him).
He's incredible. I expect the direction (so meaning the acting) will be exceptional. Top-notch.
This might be one of the first AI films but where all of the acting and performances are 100% actors.
Meaning, they saved money on sets and lighting by filming in an empty warehouse, theater style. A.I. creates the environments.
This would have been a $200 million+ movie otherwise.
Okay now BAD NEWS:
This film is the Craig Wright story!
Gal Gadot plays a journalist who is hired by Pete Davidson (playing crypto investor Calvin Ayre) to investigate Casey Affleck (playing Craig Wright).
If you're newer to Bitcoin and have been hiding under a rock, you may have missed that Craig Wright claimed he was Satoshi Nakamoto 🤣🤡
This went to court where the evidence was overwhelming that he defrauded and lied to the court with an abundance of forged documents.
He was suing both Peter McCormack and Magnus Granath (Hodlonaut) for years, simply for claiming he was not Satoshi.
In short, the court declared Craig was not Satoshi, did not write the Bitcoin white paper, and did not code any of its software.
Based on the film's premise, the movie is going to skew toward Craig Wright being Satoshi. How could he not be Satoshi if a coalition of tech billionaires, governments, and crypto organizations spent hundreds of millions just to discredit him? That will be the narrative.
A.I. versions of Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, and Jack Dorsey appear in the film.
So if Bitcoiners were expecting a balanced or honest portrayal of Bitcoin's beginnings... this isn't it.
And I get why as a story-teller. If you set Bitcoin aside, it's a compelling narrative to focus on the misunderstood "genius" who gave the world perfect money but no one will believe him.
Yet, Bitcoiners know this is flat out false.
Oh... on top of all of this, the film is partially financed by... (drumroll)... Calvin Ayre! Calvin has been Craig Wright's main benefactor over the years and the most prominent supporter/promoter of Craig as Satoshi.
So although a huge budget with A-list stars... it's really an indie movie made by Calvin Ayre about Craig Wright.
As of this post there's no major domestic distributor outside of some international sales.
I expect it to be a good film from a filmmaking aspect. But I'm bummed that the first big Bitcoin film, and with the title, "BITCOIN," might confuse newcomers on its history.
There's always hope it gets other aspects of Bitcoin right (not Wright).
