This is sad! No genuine Christian should approve of this desecration. God’s servants are not perfect but they are God’s servants anyway. And we can always disagree without invalidating one another. The attack on personalities when we find faults with them is a dishonorable trend that has become a culture. It is terrible and damnable! What’s more sad is that Christians do this to one another too. I have seen Christian bloggers make caricature images of preachers they despise, projecting very dishonorable mockery of those preachers. I dare say if VDM had mocked a preacher who many in the body of Christ despise, hardly will anyone say I thing about it. The outrage is not just because it was done to a preacher but to Apostle Arome. That selective honour in the body of Christ is sad. It’s all political and the world has caught up with our disdain one for another. Conversations will continue but honour must be maintained. It is well.

Your effective campaign for social justice has distinguished you among Nigerian celebrities and influencers. That heroic act of getting justice for victims who ordinarily would have been shortchanged has endeared you to many of us. Social justice is a core catholic doctrine and a fundamental part of the gospel. We appreciate anyone who carries it out as partners in the gospel, irrespective of race or religion. However, your mimicry of Pastor Arome Osayi is way out of propriety. You could have made those criticisms without denting them with that act. I'm asking you to apologize publicly to Pastor Arome if you haven't, that will be the noble and right thing to do. No matter how wrong what a person says or said is, insults, caricature and any form of expletives against such person can never be right. We are not allowed to insult even the devil, as devilish as he is.
