We’re deprecating the infrastructure behind our Chain Abstraction Toolkit on May 18 at 23:59 UTC. Since its inception, the toolkit helped demonstrate what chain abstraction can look like in production.
We showed that cross-chain UX could feel dramatically better. Through Resource Locks we enabled users to go from native BTC to any asset on any L2 in seconds, despite ~12 minute Bitcoin block times.
We also saw strong teams ship fast using our stack. Dexari went live on OneBalance in under two weeks, and processed $1.375B in volume in its first 30 days. It proved that our product worked, the UX improvements were real, and that chain abstraction was not just theoretical.
Over the last 6 weeks, we’ve been working closely with customers and partners to ensure a smooth transition. @zerion will support the data layer and @RelayProtocol will handle the transaction execution, with migration resources directly available .
We’re grateful to the teams that built with us early and we’re closing this chapter with conviction about our future. Stay tuned for updates about what we’re building next 🚀
