1/ This one stings. Our team gave everything we had to get the Clarity Act across the finish line. So did most of the industry. This was an opportunity bigger than Ripple or one company - we did this for the industry, for consumers and to cement the US’s position as the crypto capital of the world and as a leader in the future of finance. Ultimately, consumers and U.S. competitiveness got left behind. 2/ A post mortem needs to be done on why this failed (more from me on that in the days ahead). The politics of the democrats (the anti-crypto army) was elevated over good policy. 3/ There is still reason for optimism for crypto in the United States. Now, the SEC, under Chair Atkins, and the CFTC, under Chair Selig, will continue to work hard to issue rules to fill the legislative gap and we will continue to be actively engaged in that rule making process. 4/ Ripple's business has never been stronger — real demand across traditional finance and the digital asset ecosystem. A missed vote in Washington doesn't change our momentum, our global footprint, or our customers.

You don't need to move your tokens to put them in your LLC. List the wallet address, asset type, quantity & value on the capital contributions page, sign the contribution agreement, then notarize it for the record. That documents the LLC as the owner without a single on-chain transaction. With a single-member LLC it's generally not a taxable event, since the IRS treats it as a disregarded entity. Take the time to have your attorney paper it properly though, because the protection comes from treating that wallet as the company's from that day forward, not from the notary stamp

The market sucks. It’s not going to suck forever. I try not to navel gaze. I spend 60% of my time thinking about what comes next and 40% of my time helping the team execute on existing plans. Unlike a lot of projects that have blown through their capital and are shutting their doors, Flare remains well capitalised. We have had massive success with FXRP (biggest XRP usage by a factor of 5-6) in the worst possible market - I expect usage and TVL to increase markedly as certain things come onstream - aided by a market recovery. I want to do the same with FBTC. Then there are killer apps for the whole space that CAN ONLY really be enabled by the FCC in conjunction with the rest of Flare’s product suite. Lastly we will see Flare start to be used more widely for crosschain data. Every inch we move forward will raise Flare’s profile and everything feeds revenue into FIRE.

Starting in the next couple of weeks the next 6 months are going to be transformative for XRPFi through Flare.
