PSB bankers should come out of the delusion that an employee’s contribution to a bank’s annual profit is comparable to that of an employee in a typical corporate.
PSB profitability is built on the entire banking ecosystem—government backing, relatively stable deposits, government business, regulatory support, the balance sheet and capital, and even charges such as minimum-balance penalties—not simply an individual employee’s effort.
Bankers certainly create value and have specialised skills. But claiming that one employee “generates” the bank’s annual profit, and using that to compare personal contribution with corporate employees is not factually correct
wtf... you may work where ever, let us assign each other job... the profit i generate for my bank for an year may not be achieved by you in you entire career... now don't tell what bankers know and do..
