Bitget's delisting of $DOG has been one of the most unprofessional experiences I have encountered in my 12 years in crypto
First their listing team (really a sales team) harassed me on telegram trying to "shake down" the $DOG Army
Then they chose to announce the $DOG delisting just hours after a hacker exploited Bitget for $352M
Meanwhile withdrawals remain halted indefinitely and customers are panicking
This created a major price dislocation where $DOG on Bitget has been trading significantly below market price for two days now
Why was the Bitget team spending its energy delisting $DOG instead of focusing entirely on investigating such a serious security incident and ensuring customer funds were safe?
The way this was handled showed a serious disregard for Bitget users and caused significant harm to both the $DOG price and the $DOG holders who trusted Bitget
I sincerely hope that @GracyBitget takes accountability for this $DOG price decoupling incident and addresses it immediately by not moving forward with delisting $DOG on Wednesday

⏱ Sep 24, 18:31 UTC: Bitget hacked for $350M+. Every withdrawal frozen.
⏱ Sep 25: hours later, DOG/USDT delisting notice. solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u deposits and Convert cut the same day.
⏱ Sep 28 to 30: BTC, ETH, USDT withdrawals reopen first.
⏱ Sep 30, 10:00 UTC: DOG/USDT spot delisted.
⏱ Oct 2, 08:00 UTC: solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u withdrawals finally reopen.
That's 46 hours where the pair is gone and holders still can't withdraw. Their only exit was Bitget's own order book, during a freeze, after a delisting announcement.
The notice says "periodic review." It never mentions the hack.
Why announce a delisting while users can't withdraw? And why make it take effect before solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u can leave the exchange? Are you planning to steal customer funds?
The fair fix: pause the delisting until solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u withdrawals have been open long enough for holders to choose where they trade or @Bitget halts delisting of solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u (Bitcoin) completely to support FREE & FAIR.

Dear @GracyBitget,
I would like to bring to your attention a serious incident that occurred on Bitget yesterday as a second-order effect of the hack.
Despite the exploit occurring only hours earlier, with withdrawals still frozen, Bitget made a delisting announcement for $DOG.
The combination of the $DOG delisting announcement, the inability for users to withdraw, and broader trust concerns following the hack resulted in a significant price dislocation event for $DOG on Bitget.
Making a delisting announcement while withdrawals are paused, particularly just hours after a major exploit and during a period of heightened market uncertainty, is highly abnormal for an exchange.
This is the type of behavior one might expect from smaller, less reputable exchanges, but not from an established and respected exchange such as Bitget.
As a result, $DOG's price on Bitget has significantly decoupled from prices on other exchanges, directly impacting Bitget users who hold or trade $DOG.
Bitget has been a popular and trusted venue for trading $DOG for two and a half years, and it is disappointing to see longtime $DOG holders negatively affected in this way after being loyal to Bitget for so long.
Furthermore, $DOG is a major cryptocurrency project with one of the strongest and most active memecoin communities in all of crypto.
It is difficult to understand the decision to delist a $100M+ asset like $DOG, which has generated more than $1B in trading volume on Bitget, while the exchange continues to list hundreds of significantly smaller assets with communities that are only a small fraction of the size of the $DOG Army.
On behalf of the $DOG Army, I would therefore like to formally request that Bitget reconsider this decision and reinstate $DOG spot trading.
Doing so would help address the market dislocation created under these unusual circumstances and demonstrate Bitget's commitment to its longtime users.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We also wish Bitget the best in recovering the stolen assets and resolving any other issues arising from the hack.
