When Everton were shite in the 90s and 2000s when i was growing up I could at least dream of a wealthy owner buying my club and getting us competing for titles again . Kids supporting Everton under these rules today don’t even have that . Football has never been so crap

I don't even see how their current numbers are genuine. How do they report to have close to the highest revenue in the country when their gate receipts are nowhere near as big as others. Nor is their overall fanbase, which will affect merchandise, sponsorship etc
The stupidest thing is how transparent the cheating was. Man City were averaging £600m more in commercial income than Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea in the decade to 2020. It was stark raving obvious that those numbers could not be real for City’s global scale at that time.

I know it’s mentioned a lot. But genuinely what is the point in technical boxes if they’re not actually enforced. Just feels pointless and makes a thing out of something that football managers and officials don’t really care about.
