Sara Ali Khan, daughter of Saif Ali Khan and the erstwhile Nawab of Pataudi, was recently seen crying uncontrollably at the Golden Temple.
She may have access to wealth, fame and privileges that millions can only dream of. Yet, here she was, visibly overwhelmed at one of Sikhism’s holiest shrines, seemingly seeking solace or praying for something.
Perhaps this is a reminder for Sara, and nepo kids in general, to pause and reflect on all that life has already given them.
While it is natural to pray for what we desire, perhaps we should also learn to express gratitude for what we have. Millions of people lead far more difficult lives, with fewer opportunities and resources, yet find reasons to smile and remain content.
Sometimes, the greatest prayer is not asking God for more, but thanking Him for what we already have.
