Police in California (LAPD and Sacramento PD) this week keep giving more unlawful orders and threatening press at homeless encampment sweeps. Many videos in this thread 🧵. Some officers just make up nonexistent laws. Starting today in Los Angeles:
Earlier, LAPD officers threatened to arrest me for filming a sanitation "cleanup" within their "work zone." The officers struggled to cite a law that supports their claims. I gave up when a Sgt said I would be given a "final warning" before being taken away in handcuffs. @LATACO
