Before Mewtwo became the most powerful man-made Pokémon, it was simply trying to understand what it was. Backstory: Dr. Fuji lost his daughter, Amber. Giovanni (the evil org Team Rocket’s boss) funded a project to clone the mythical creature, Mew, from a fossilized eyelash found in an excavation site. Fuji used this opportunity to try to bring his daughter back. While still in the lab, Mewtwo communicated through telepathy with Ambertwo, the cloned daughter of Dr. Fuji, and asked: “Am I a human… or am I a Pokémon?” Amber’s answer was simple: it shouldn’t matter. For all its power, Mewtwo’s story was never about destroying the world. It was about searching for a place in it 💭 Your turn to write the next chapter. Mew and Mewtwo are both live on Packly.
