The integration of PSW with NADRA’s PakID Mobile App provides users with a digital option for biometric verification required for Subscription, Subscription Renewal, and Profile Update processes. The option reduces the need for a physical visit to a NADRA e-Sahulat Centre and may help users save time and travel costs, particularly those located away from NADRA service centres. By incorporating verification into the digital PSW journey, the integration also supports a simpler approach to onboarding and account management. PSW, in collaboration with NADRA, has introduced a #digital biometric verification option for PSW Subscriptions, Renewals, and Profile Updates. PSW users in Pakistan and eligible overseas Pakistanis can now complete their biometric verification remotely through the #PakID App, eliminating the only physical visit required in the #PSW subscription process and saving valuable time and travel costs. During the transition period, biometric verification will remain available through both the PakID App and e-Sahulat Centres. Following the transition, PSW biometric verification services will fully move to the PakID App, subject to applicable #NADRA requirements. This integration marks another step towards making PSW services more accessible, convenient and user-focused while supporting a seamless ease-of-doing-business experience.

#PSW conducted a #ChangeManagement session at @fwccifsd bringing together women entrepreneurs and business representatives to strengthen their understanding of digital trade facilitation and the tools available to support their trade journey. Azka Rehman provided an overview of the PSW ecosystem and its key functionalities, along with a detailed demonstration of the TradeVerse/Trade Information Portal of Pakistan (#TIPP). The engagement focused on helping participants access and navigate trade-related information more effectively through TIPP, while an interactive Q&A session addressed their queries and provided practical guidance on PSW services.

Chairman @FBRSpokesperson, Mr. Rashid Mahmood Langrial, accompanied by Member Customs Operations, Syed Shakeel Shah, and senior FBR officials, visited the PSW Karachi office to review progress on digital trade facilitation and ongoing technology initiatives. During the visit, the FBR Chairman appreciated the PSW team for its efforts in advancing Pakistan’s digital trade ecosystem, with particular recognition for the WeBOC 2.0 / PACE team and their work towards modernizing and streamlining customs processes. The Chairman also interacted with the PSW team and exchanged views on the potential impact of AI on the IT sector. Under Mr. Langrial's leadership, FBR has embarked upon an ambitious reform through digitalization agenda. With his active gudiance and support, several new initiatives in customs such as faceless customs, AI enabled risk management system, and WeBOC transformation have been launched with IT support provided by PSW. PSW participated in @eplsummitpk , a premier industry platform bringing together leaders and stakeholders from e-commerce, digital payments, fintech, banking, logistics, technology, and regulatory sectors to discuss the future of Pakistan’s digital economy and global trade ecosystem.
