By incorporating verification into the digital PSW journey, the integration also supports a simpler approach to onboarding and account management. PSW users in Pakistan and eligible overseas Pakistanis can now complete their biometric verification remotely through the #PakID App, eliminating the only physical visit required in the #PSW subscription process and saving valuable time and travel costs. During the transition period, biometric verification will remain available through both the PakID App and e-Sahulat Centres. Following the transition, PSW biometric verification services will fully move to the PakID App, subject to applicable #NADRA requirements. Chairman @FBRSpokesperson, Mr. Rashid Mahmood Langrial, accompanied by Member Customs Operations, Syed Shakeel Shah, and senior FBR officials, visited the PSW Karachi office to review progress on digital trade facilitation and ongoing technology initiatives. During the visit, the FBR Chairman appreciated the PSW team for its efforts in advancing Pakistan’s digital trade ecosystem, with particular recognition for the WeBOC 2.0 / PACE team and their work towards modernizing and streamlining customs processes. #PSW and @Pk_PAA_Official have signed an MoU to digitalize the collection of Cargo Throughput Charges (#CTC) on import consignments arriving in Pakistan by air, marking an important step towards integrating Pakistan’s digital trade infrastructure with the air cargo ecosystem and enabling more seamless, transparent, and efficient cross-border trade. Through this collaboration, CTC payments will be integrated into the PSW platform, replacing manual, paper-based procedures with a streamlined digital process. #PSW, in collaboration with Alibaba.com, conducted an #SMElevate session at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI), bringing together LCCI SME members to explore digital tools and resources designed to accelerate business growth and expand trade opportunities. The session focused on #TradeVerse - the Trade Information Portal of Pakistan (TIPP), featuring a live demonstration of its key resources, including regulatory information, trade procedures, etc. Participants were also introduced to #TradeLab courses designed to strengthen their business and trade knowledge. #PSW and Board of Revenue, #Sindh (BoRS) have signed a Service Level Agreement (SLA) by @naveedabbasmem1, Chief Domain Officer PSW, and Nazir Ahmed Qureshi, Member RS&EP Board of Revenue Sindh, to formalize the digital collection of Sindh Stamp Duty on cross-border trade declarations through the PSW platform. The new arrangement introduces a dedicated interface for BoRS, enabling real-time monitoring of stamp duty collections and efficient daily and monthly reconciliation against government receipts. #PSW's #PortVerse has electronically processed all the Delivery Orders (DOs) for the Roll-on/Roll-off (#RORO) vessel, MV Grande Shanghai. The vessel arrived at KGTML, Karachi Port, carrying the largest electric vehicle (EV) consignment ever received in Pakistan, with all Delivery Orders processed digitally through PortVerse. PortVerse has standardized the end-to-end Delivery Order procedure across all terminals, shipping agents, customs agents, and traders - driving faster, seamless port operations, cutting reliance on manual and paper-based staggered processes, and creating ease for the business community.
