Question Time was very Question Timeish last night but I wanted to end by giving a shout out to the small business people slogging their guts out.
They are the people who give me hope - resilient, industrious, creative. But they feel totally ground down, like the government is always inventing new ways to tax them or make life harder.
It shouldn't be this way.
We’ve already set out policies to free them up - from cutting business rates to lowering energy costs - and we’ll be saying more this coming week in Birmingham at @conservatives conference.
