The single biggest difference between humans and AI agents is the amount of actions they execute on a computer per unit of time.
AI agents can look and act just like humans, but execute 10,000X more actions per unit time. that's the tell.
so the key to defending cyberspace from AI slop or AI attacks is to target ACTION, not IDENTITY. trying to detect AI is a fool's errand; targeting its BEHAVIOR is the key.
So if you want to deter AI from accessing your website/system, simply make it expensive in computational tokens to ACT on your website. Make every command or button cost a token, and suddenly it's 10,000X more costly for AI to act than a human.
You can't stop AI, but you can make it extraordinarily expensive to use it.
We already know this intuitively, because everybody who has ever run openclaw or their own personal AI agents knows that the single biggest LIMFAC is compute tokens. your AI is only as good as your compute token wallet.
but AI compute is constantly getting cheaper and better, and some countries have far better AI compute than others, creating a major imbalance of power. so the key to long term success is to create some kind of universal, non-sovereign, geopolitically neutral compute token network. that is, we need some kind of network that accounts for a bunch of transferable tokens that are computationally expensive to produce. that no amount of AI compute can produce more of.
we need a proof-of-compute token network. and we need it to be fully decentralized so that no single person or polity can gain permanent or centralized control over it. we need this network to be globally dispersed. and we need to figure out a way to distribute those compute tokens in a way that's fair, that gives no single person or polity an advantage over the others. perhaps in some kind of first-come first-served basis, where the users who provide the computational power are given the tokens and free to spread them out however they want.
if we had this compute token network, the final step to saving ourselves against AI is to simply adopt the habit of making every online action cost some fraction of a compute token, so that it's orders of magnitude more expensive for AI agents to operate online than humans.
the first nation to discover this compute token network and use it to its defensive advantage against the threat of agentic AI will win the 21st century.
BTW that compute token network is Bitcoin.

Younger generations complain about boomers and their wealth, but maybe they were just more productive than later generations.
My father worked 70 hrs/week, built his own house and multiple additions, restored cars, boats, built engines, did brake jobs in the driveway, and still found time to help me with science projects and take us on vacations. I remember holding a flashlight for him so he could finish framing a roof addition in the dark. He never sat down to watch tv until at least 9pm.
I know others with parents like this. No complaining, just a madman mentality to succeed in life

Medieval England named streets after what happened on them. Bakers got Baker Street. Prostitutes got Gropecunt Lane.
Oxford had one by 1230 (now Magpie Lane). So did London, York, Bristol, Shrewsbury and a dozen other towns—usually slap in the middle, next to the market, not tucked away in shame. The name was just the job description.
Then everyone got polite. Gropecunt became Grope, then Grape, then Magpie, then Grove. Shrewsbury still has a Grope Lane. Everyone else memory-holed it.

This is correct. After 30 years of self-employment, I cannot even begin to comprehend this defeatist mindset. Make yourself valuable to others. Show up early. Stay late. Improve. Forget your weekends. Forget your evenings. Hustle - because that’s what the guy paying you did. Start your own business if you have to.
And to the people wanting a 4 day work week - millions of small business owners are laughing at you for saying that as they work weekend after weekend.
This is pathetic fatalism.

Okay, and then what?
No ambition. No skill development. No job hunting. No roommates. No career progression. No long-term thinking. Just a snapshot of the bottom rung followed by the declaration that the ladder is broken.
A starting wage isn't supposed to be a lifetime financial plan. The question is how you move up from it.

The NGOs end up increasing the number of homeless people they manage, because that’s the only way to increase their revenue! Incentives drive outcomes.
“Homeless” is a propaganda word used to describe people on the street who are mentally ill or severely addicted to drugs. The word implies that this is someone who fell a little behind on their mortgage payment and they’re one job offer away from getting back on their feet, which is obviously false if you’ve ever tried talking to a “homeless” person in SF, LA, NY, Austin or anywhere else.
The honest reality is that we need to bring back asylums for extreme mental illness or drug addiction for those who are a serious danger to themselves or others.

🚨If there is ONE thing you read about Maine’s property taxes before this election, let it be this:
For nearly 20 years, Maine had a law limiting how quickly towns could increase their property tax levies.
And if a town wanted to exceed that limit, it had to follow a separate approval process.
In 2024, the Mills-Pingree Administration repealed that law.
The statewide municipal property tax levy limit was eliminated, along with the procedures for exceeding it.
At the time, Hannah Pingree was serving as head of Mills’ policy office.
As Governor, this is my plan to deliver property tax relief:
1. RAISE THE HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION TO $100,000. Expand property-tax relief for all Mainers, including seniors, veterans, first-time homebuyers and working families (Worth noting, the Mills-Pingree Administration testified against increasing the Homestead Exemption).
2. ROLL BACK UNFUNDED STATE MANDATES. Review and eliminate state requirements that impose unnecessary costs on our towns, schools and local property taxpayers.
3. LOWER MUNICIPAL OVERHEAD. Pursue lower energy costs and address the crime and addiction-related expenses affecting local governments and law enforcement.
4. REFORM REVENUE SHARING. Change the way Augusta distributes funding to municipalities to encourage lower property tax rates and fiscal discipline, not higher taxes and more spending.
Those are the policies I will back as your next Governor to reduce property taxes.
And the Mills-Pingree property tax limit repeal is part of the record Mainers should know when deciding on their next Governor.

I see how people from all walks of life live at home as part of my job. It always amazes me how some people can live in filth not by necessity, but by choice. It doesn’t matter if they make $150k or $30k per year. Months of trash stacked outside, animal feces, rodents. The $150k person might have a bigger house, but it’s just as disgusting.
