EIN = clonal precursor to endometrial endometrioid cancer
EIN Criteria:
1) > 1:1 gland stroma ratio
2) Glands cytologically distinct from background glands
3) > 1 mm
If it doesn't meet all criteria, "Glandular Crowding" (example 👇) can be used, on follow up ~ 23% can be EIN

The red meat fallacy: Nigerian context...
The average Nigerian does not even eat enough meat for normal nutrition, let alone reach the threshold of 350-500g per week.
We mostly copy and paste 'western data' without the full context.
How do we tell them to go ahead and eat meat now? 😓😂
The Western diet has meat as part of the food, while most African diets put meat as a motivation to eat food!

Ixodid ticks are characterized by the presence of a scutum, a feature clearly visible in my photo. Thus, the specimen depicted is confirmed as a hard tick. The hypostome and chelicerae (mouthparts) can be observed at the ventral aspect where the tick attaches to the skin.

Bir süre önce 27 yaşında bir genç kız geldi kliniğe. Göğsünde bir kitle hissettiğini söylüyordu. Muayene ederken içime hiç sinmedi; kitle biraz endişe vericiydi, düzensiz ve dallanmış görünüyordu. Tabii ki akla ilk gelen yüksek ihtimalle kanser odağıydı.
Önemli olan şu ki, muayene sırasında otururken bana dedi ki: “Midem çok rahatsız, çünkü çok fazla ağrı kesici kullanıyorum.”
“Niçin bu kadar çok ağrı kesici kullanıyorsun?” diye sordum.
“Bir aydır sırtım çok fena ağrıyor” dedi.
O an şüphelerim daha da arttı. Hemen gerekli tetkikleri yaptırmaya gönderdim.
Sonuç: Kendisinde kanser çıktı.
