Kwamhlanga Hospital is appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the family of a male patient currently receiving care at the facility. The man was brought to the hospital by ambulance on 25 September 2026 after paramedics reportedly found him sleeping next to the R573 road. At the time, he was unable to speak and could not provide any information about his identity or family. The hospital says the patient started speaking yesterday and identified himself as Adam Mahlangu from Delmas. However, staff have cautioned that the information he has provided could not yet be independently verified. Anyone who recognises the man or may know his family is urged to contact Kwamhlanga Hospital on 013 947 9100 and ask for Make Ward. The public is encouraged to share this appeal to help reunite the patient with his family.
