Why does the whole world seem not to care about these persecuted Christians?
EZEQUIEL DACHOMO! 🙏

Why can't they just check the books in and out, make wholesome recommendations, and assist where needed? Why do they need an agenda?! This is absurd.
Marxist librarian Jessamyn West. American Library Association never stops promoting this. Now the “Abolitionist Library Association.” “Community not cops.” “People over property.” “Undoing the society we live in.” So anti-capitalist, anti-American. Defund ALA.

Excellent point.
This is what you call pressuring schools to keep undisciplined students in the learning environment. Everyone is focused on suspensions not being a deterrent. What’s not discussed is suspensions creating a safe and orderly classroom. wral.com/news/education/wake…

One of the concerning comments from the WECT New Hanover School Board forum came from Jerry Jones, candidate for board. While Mr.Jones is partially correct in that school administrators and staff should disaggregate the data, he is wrong in his belief that you can’t use what works in high-performing schools because the student demographics are different, so everything has to be “culturally relevant.” Read the transcript. QUESTION: So, in terms of the performance gap among New Hanover County schools, you mentioned in your questionnaire that the district should not simply copy programs from high-performing schools, but identify and remove specific barriers affecting those lower performing schools. So, how would you determine what factors are actually contributing to that lower performance? JERRY JONES: So, I think this is a great question. So I think that you have to have disaggregated data right and so what I mean by that is that you have to pull apart the averages so that you're looking at data according to the different demographics um who are in that school in particular right so you can't just copy a program from school A to school B because the culture of school B is more than likely going to be significantly different from the culture as school A  just with different educators in enroll different  principles in place and just the makeup of the student body. Your approach has to be culturally relevant to the school that you're applying that approach to.

🚨BREAKING: A 13-year-old orphaned girl told staff she felt unsafe, but her request to move was DENIED. JK Rowling just offered to pay for her day in court. A 13-year-old orphaned girl, the only female in the unit and with no criminal record, was placed at St Mary's Kenmure in Glasgow alongside 11 boys aged 15-17, all teenage offenders. She told staff she felt unsafe and requested to move to an empty houseblock, but her request was denied. The situation was documented by the Council of Europe's committee for the prevention of torture following an inspection. JK Rowling responded strongly, offering to pay for the girl's day in court. She wrote: Who does it hurt if we make every space mixed-sex? This is who it hurts: the most vulnerable, those without power and influence, the invisible people politicians don't bother to consider when chasing likes and photo ops.

⏰CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) is being investigated by the federal government for its support of terrorist groups Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. Some states have designated the group as a terrorist and transnational criminal organization. We knew Wake Senator Haseeb Fatmi has been endorsed by CAIR but were a little shocked to find out the group is heavily invested in North Carolina races, including General Assembly and school board in Wake. CAIR's list is lengthy but highlights include endorsements of Winn Decker running for Erin Pare's seat, Rep Julie von Haefen (Mary Insprucker's opponent) and School Board candidate for District 7 Maddie Segal (Democrat Amita Gupta and Republican Jacob Arthur's opponent), School Board candidate District 1 Jasmine Zavala (Bonnie Greave's opponent) School Board Chair and candidate for District 9 Tyler Swanson (Cheryl Alexis' opponent) and School Board member and candidate District 3 Christina Gordon (Ann Shubarg's opponent.) We know many of these have been endorsed by far-left activist groups but terrorism is another issue.

.@nhcgop @tideturnersnc @MichaelLee4NC.𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱? 𝗡𝗼𝗽𝗲, 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳. Pat Bradford, current board member backs it up in the recent WECT candidate forum. This board has worked on common sense solutions for parents. Read the transcripts. 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗣𝗔𝗧 𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗗: "Why do you believe it is appropriate to limit book access based on one parent's complaint?" 𝗣𝗔𝗧 𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗗: I think  that the parent has the right to say and govern their child's education and I want to address the bigger issue behind that which is that in four years our board has dealt with one book challenge. We have this label that's thrown around and I hate labels that says it's a book banning board. One book challenge to our board in four years. That does not make for a book banning board. But if a book is age inappropriate, um sexually explicit, then I don't want it in our schools for our education. Our libraries are different. Now, that book, that one book, it stayed in the library. It's there now. You want to go check it out, you can. It was in the classroom that we dealt with one book in four years. And so libraries and classrooms are different. But I do think that if a parent has a challenge, they should have the right to make the challenge. Right now, we're in the process of in fact, we voted we voted last last night to um put in place our policy that is agreeing with what the state has said that we need to do in that area. and there'll be a committee and ultimately it will be overseen by the superintendent and we look forward to seeing how that works or if there's any bugs or things that have to be corrected but I believe that that system is working and it will continue to work. Our opinion-𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒃𝒐𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒊𝒕 𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒍𝒊𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒎 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔.𝑲𝒖𝒅𝒐𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚!

In answer to an interested party, Ms Bradford was answering a question about the actions of the school board. We believe the board's decision was based on several factors, one being that it wasn't listed or aligned with grade standards outlined in the syllabus for the college level class. Principals may make decisions to remove books they believe to be educationally unsuitable or inappropriate for the ages and grades of the school where they are administrators. Usually contact with the principal would occur and decisions would be made with input from the MTAC committee before ever reaching the board. We believe that the board acted appropriately and will do so with the new statutes passed by the NCGA.

Wow, they really tried to shut you down. Thank you for your courage to speak out about the explicit content available to children in ISS.
Pray for me! I'm speaking at the Iredell-Statesville school board meeting tonight! My national school board campaign continues, and we're keeping the main thing, the main thing. We must protect our children. Luke 17:2 It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.

.@nhcgop @tideturnersnc @MichaelLee4NC One of our favorite statements to come out of the WECT New Hanover School Board Candidate Forum came from Josie Barnhart, New Hanover School Board Member, up for re-election- 𝑰'𝒎 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒂𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔. 𝑵𝒐 𝒇𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒚 𝒆𝒏𝒓𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒃𝒆 𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒖𝒑 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒏. Ms Barnhart also touted the board's record of school achievement and improvement. Read the transcript. Thank you everyone for being here tonight. My name is Josie Barnhart and I'm running for reelection to New Hanover County Board of Education. I was elected in 2022 and I firmly believe that a sound education can be achieved by every single child, no matter where they go to school, no matter what background they come from, that they should have opportunities that allow them to succeed. What success looks like can be graduating and going to college. It can be going into the military. It can be going directly into the workforce. I believe that when you maintain high accountability for our students and for our staff, you're going to see the results. And I have up here with me my notebook that I just got last night of our accountability. We have decreased from 10 to five low performing schools this past year. 82% of our schools are A, B, or C schools. The programs that we are doing are working. We are investing in the right things. We are supporting our staff and our students and the outcomes are showing it. I am proud to stand alongside and to build collaborative relationships with the people in our district. I see some back there as well as our legislators and our local officials because we all have to work together to get that result.
