the weirdest part of building Locus Founder is that i'm building the exact thing i wish existed when i was younger.
i couldn't code until i was 19. as a teenager, i spent weeks finding good suppliers. i wasn’t “into startups” or familiar with what a technical co-founder even meant. at 14 i would walk to the local store to buy nintendo amiibos to resell on ebay as my side business. by 16, i started having more ideas. i always wanted to make money and had agency, but several parts of inertia held me back. by 18 i had a business idea and zero way to build it.
so with Locus Founder i built a tool that starts businesses in 30 minutes. website, emails, ads, payments. all of it. because that's what i needed at 14, 16, and 18 and it didn't exist.
i really hope there’s another me out there that can pursue the thing they want to because we built this tool, that would make me more delighted than any other nominal success metric. sometimes the best product ideas are just your own unsolved problems.
