Peace through sport. Today in Herzliya, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., David Brownstein hit the pitch with diplomatic counterparts for a “Mini Mondial” soccer match with Arab and Jewish youth, along with colleagues from the embassies of fellow World Cup co-hosts Canada and Mexico. Huge thanks to @PeresCenter for organizing — and to CDA Brownstein for proving the United States really is a soccer nation!

Happy to attend Mini Mondial, the flagship celebration of the Sports in the Service of Peace program at the @PeresCenter . Bringing together Jewish and Arab children from communities across Israel through the unifying power of sport. A fantastic day filled with great team spirit!

Day 5 — and our final day in Israel — brought everything together in the most meaningful way. A perfect close to an unforgettable journey. 🤍🇮🇱 We began at the @PeresCenter, where we saw how Israeli innovation continues to shape the world and foster dialogue for peace. It was eye-opening for the delegation to learn just how many technologies we use every day have roots right here in Israel. Our visit to @sheba_medical left a deep impression. From cutting-edge medical technology to remarkable rehabilitation outcomes, we witnessed a health system driven by excellence and compassion, serving all communities, including Palestinians, and extending care far beyond borders. Together with our visit to @SaveChildsHeart, we saw innovation in action, saving lives and offering hope to children from around the world. We wrapped up the day with a culinary tour of Carmel Market, sharing food, laughter, songs, dances, and final reflections on a trip that showed us the many layers of Israel: its people, its creativity, its humanity, and its heart. As we came home, we carried more than memories. We carried stories, lessons, friendships, and a deeper understanding of what Israel has to offer. Truly an amazing journey from start to finish. ✨🇰🇪🤝🏽🇮🇱

💡L’Ambassade de France en Israël s’est rendu au Peres Center for Peace & Innovation, fondé en 1996 par Shimon Peres pour faire de l’innovation un moteur de paix, de dialogue et de développement régional. Dans son bâtiment iconique de Jaffa, signé Massimiliano Fuksas, le centre offre une immersion unique au cœur de la tech israélienne et de ses réussites majeures.👩‍💻 Cette visite a été l’occasion de découvrir des initiatives qui transforment les territoires, soutiennent les communautés périphériques et encouragent les coopérations transfrontalières. 🤝 De riches échanges ont également permis d’identifier de nouvelles pistes de coopération entre la France et Israël, pour faire émerger ensemble des projets ambitieux, académiques comme industriels.

היום נפתחה ב @PeresCenter תערוכת הצילומים של זיו קורן 7/10. לא יכולתי להסתכל בתמונות ובכל זאת זה היה מטלטל כי פניהם של @gildickmann וענבר גולדשטיין היו מולי ואמרו הכל. הרגע שבו נעצרה ענבר מול הצילום של שי חרמש אוחז בחולצת בנו עומר ז״ל,בינות הריסות ביתו היה ככ קשה 💔 חשוב לראות.
