From today to 8 August, Amsterdam will host WorldPride for the first time. Pride celebrates the freedom to be yourself and love who you love. This is a fundamental human right. NL stands for equality, inclusion and a world where everyone can live openly, safely and with dignity.

Together with partners 🇩🇪, 🇫🇷,🇨🇭, 🇮🇹, 🇬🇧, 🇳🇴, 🇸🇪, the Netherlands wants to make a contribution to early recovery and reconstruction in Gaza. Therefore, we have contributed 5 million euros to the UN Horizon Fund for the Recovery of Palestine. 1/2

Het is belangrijk dat er ruimte is en blijft voor de veelzijdigheid van de Joodse identiteit, zowel cultureel als religieus. Daarom houdt de veiligheid van de Joodse gemeenschap onze nadrukkelijke en blijvende aandacht. Vanmiddag sprak ik met vertegenwoordigers van de Joodse gemeenschap over wat het Joodse leven voor hen betekent en hoe zij hier op verschillende manieren uiting aan geven. Zij vertelden mij hoe zij zich inzetten om het Joodse leven in Nederland onder de aandacht te brengen en te zorgen dat de Joodse identiteit behouden blijft, ook richting de toekomst. Goede voorlichting over de holocaust is hierbij essentieel. Ook benadrukten zij het belang van de aanpak van antisemitisme. Hier zal het kabinet zich ook hard voor blijven maken. Want voor antisemitisme is geen plek in Nederland.
