Let the Law Suits begin.
A New York jury just awarded $2 MILLION to a young woman who underwent a double mastectomy at 16 and later detransitioned. The jury found her psychologist and surgeon liable for malpractice. Her case alleged that serious mental-health issues, including depression, body dysmorphia, anorexia and autism-spectrum traits, were not adequately addressed before an irreversible procedure was performed on a minor. Now watch what happens when someone like her speaks publicly. For years we were told regret was exceedingly rare. We were told these procedures were necessary care. We were told questioning the process itself was dangerous. But when a detransitioner stands up and says, “This happened to me,” suddenly she becomes the problem. That is the epistemic tell. When evidence supports the narrative, it is celebrated. When evidence contradicts the narrative, the person carrying the evidence gets attacked. A jury heard the testimony. A jury examined the evidence. A jury found malpractice. And a jury put the damages at $2 million. You don’t protect vulnerable young people by demanding silence from the ones who came back and said, “I wish someone had slowed this down.” You protect them by listening. #AStoneGroove #SilentMajoritySpeaks

It was Swinney who forced trans ideology and porn into Scottish schools. He blew nearly £1m of your money fighting against women's rights in court. He's never had a real job, he's been feeding from the taxpayer for the last 30 years. Him and the SNP need to be gone...

I don't care what they think. I find this victimhood nonsense as annoying af. They are so coddled it's no wonder they don't have any resilience and poor mental health. What do young people in Kettering think of the label snowflakes? - BBC News share.google/JWlOTqQY8sPcl1a…

This guy thinks that being prevented from using the women's bathroom means that people don't see him as a woman and think he can never be a woman. Excellent. Welcome to reality! You are a man, so of course people do not see you as a woman. And of course you can never be a woman. Because you are a man. The sooner you accept that, the better — for you, and for all of society.

Many who have a DSD/intersex condition, like myself, do not feel tightly connected to trans people, this is a total fallacy. Myself and many others do feel like our conditions are being used like tokens for the trans community, and it's simply not fair or right. Some people literally think we are somehow trans because of the political activism that has hijacked and misrepresented us all. As for the 'intersex community' what is that exactly? Many of us who have a DSD/intersex condition have never felt like there was a community in the first place, considering that the demographic numbers of those of us with such conditions is extremely low.
hi i'm intersex and none of this is "weaponizing" me. you're just mad that the trans and intersex community are tightly connected because it means you can't fetishize us anymore

Today, David Hay KC, for the Royal College of Nursing, has attacked the evidence of Christian nurse, Jennifer Melle and said it should be completely ignored...It can never be a great look to attack the experiences of a single mum and front line NHS nurse who was racially abused, physically threatened, suspended for 10 months and investigated by the regulator twice for indirectly referring to a transgender paedophile as a man. The Royal College of Nursing did nothing to help and told Jennifer to do a 'reflection'. They saw Jennifer as the problem then, and they still do now 👇🏻

And dismissing JM's evidence of being asked to do a reflection and doing so with incredulity and that it called into question her motivations. This is the most important part of JM's evidence, that RCN considered her the aggressor in the interaction despite being repeatedly

My ‘baby’ turned 21 this week. Born 11 weeks early, weighing just a few pounds. I still remember the paediatrician coming to see us after I went into early labour at 28 weeks. He gave us a long list of things that could go wrong in neonatal intensive care. Worst case: she might not come home at all. This is the first time I held her - a few days after she was born. A rare few moments without the ventilator. Afterwards, she would need help to breathe for many weeks to come. Although I look happy here, my heart was broken. And I was full of fear. Any mother would be. Infertility, ectopic pregnancy and baby loss were part of my story too - along with premature birth and everything that followed. No exam result or professional achievement will ever rival this moment - bittersweet as it was. Which is why I refuse to be erased - or to see other women erased - from the language we use to describe what our bodies are made to do. Not every woman wants to have a baby. Not every woman is able to. But women should not have to disappear from the language of pregnancy, birth and our own bodies in order for others to feel included. Which is why I say no to “birthing people”, “menstruators”, “cervix havers” and every other reductive term for women. There is nothing inclusive about making women disappear.

The Greens have just banned a group of women from having a stall at their conference. But they are emboldened enough to put this man - a councillor - on their social media, while he enjoys showing off huge breasts and pretending to be female. We can all laugh about it, I suppose. But ask yourself if you would like your daughter to share a changing room or a female-only hospital ward with him.
