Fix the money, fix the world.

Fuck a 401k. Civilization existed for thousands of years without retirement accounts. Now we’re told we need a 401k, real estate, index funds, and decades in the market just to protect ourselves from the money we’re paid in. So instead of money being something you can simply earn and save, everyone gets pushed into assets just to keep up. That’s where so much capital gets trapped. Not because people necessarily want to be investors, but because sitting in cash comes with a cost. We normalized the workaround instead of questioning the money. Bitcoin only.

Warum? 🧵👇

I'm going to share something new I just learned about Bitcoin returns... I STRONGLY encourage you to follow @_Checkmatey_ From his last newsletter: "... around 3% of all trading days account for 100% of the bull cycle return! In other words, for a classic 3-year long bull market, just 33-days account for the full return profile. All the other days of slightly positive moves are offset by all the negative days, including the nastiest sell-off events. If you’re not invested for those 3% of days, you do not enjoy the fruits of the maximum bull market returns." This brings home what I've been saying. Buy. HODL. Done. Don't trade. Don't try to time. Smash buy if you can stomach it.

Trading is stupid. I know people who went to cash this week because they were convinced the CLARITY Act and Wednesday’s FOMC meeting would give them a better entry. Instead: Bitcoin ripped back above $80K. $MSTR went from $136.94 Monday to $153.92 Friday. $ASST crawled up another dollar, going from $29.03 to $30.09. Now these people who were waiting for the pullback are sitting in cash, watching the market run without them. Now you have to make another decision. When do you get back in? And if you do, you just created a taxable event, potentially bought back higher, and spent time trying to outsmart the market, only to underperform. Then comes the screenshot. “Made 20% this month trading!” Cool. I made roughly 100% on my portfolio in the last month. The difference is I wasn’t trying to catch every move. I was already positioned. This is why I stopped trying to trade my way to financial freedom. You don’t have to predict every move. You have to own the assets you believe will compound and have the conviction to sit through the periods where they don’t. The market will humble you if you think you can consistently outsmart it. Stay long and strong Bitcoin.

The Bitcoin space has become a cesspool of corruption. No matter what, don’t give them your keys. Don’t give them your sats. Don’t give them the one thing they want, control over your sovereignty. Black Rock is not your friend. Coinbase is not your friend. Wall Street is not your friend. Resist at all costs!

Increased buybacks are sending yields higher. Oops. Turns out people don’t want to lend to a system that destroys the purchasing power they’re paid back in. Maybe nothing stops this train. Maybe Bitcoiners aren’t so crazy. Maybe save in what they can’t print. Maybe buy bitcoin
The initial market reaction to this Treasury announcement (CNBC reporting below) has been to push yields higher: The 10-year is currently trading at 4.845% (up 5 bps on the day), while the 30-year has reached 5.302% (up 6 bps). #economy #markets @CNBC #bonds #yields

Good morning. If the Fed *raises* rates then gov't interest expense rises, causing larger deficits and the US Treasury needing to issue more debt, causing long term rates to go *higher*. If the Fed *lowers* rates, then fears of persistent inflation cause bond investors to demand more premium for lending money, and this also causes long-term rates to go *higher*. In short, good luck Kevin. Good luck Scott. And have a great day.

$BTC: THE HARD PART IS HUMAN PSYCHOLOGY Bitcoin’s price follows a power law with an R² of ~96%. Out-of-sample testing shows the signal strengthens with time, with the strongest signal beyond one year. Owning it is simple: Buy. Hold. Wait. Humans create the complication by trying to trade, time, and outsmart it.

Bitcoin’s performance comes in violent repricings. You blink and it rips another 30%. Miss its 10 best days a year, and even owning Bitcoin the other 355 days historically loses money. This is why we HODL. Bitcoin rewards humility. Stay humble. Stack sats. HODL.

Classic scorpion and the frog. Bitcoin carried MicroStrategy across the river when the company was dead in the water. But a legacy financial engineer can never change his nature: the moment he reaches the other side, he stings Bitcoin by cheerleading centralized custody, pushing dilutive paper equity, and trying to capture the protocol for institutional credit games. It was never about monetary sovereignty for him—it was always about corporate survival. He doesn’t care if it ends up destroying decentralization and security. Shameless corporate grifter 🤡
Bitcoin’s most profound breakthrough is the ability to convert economic energy into digital form and bind it securely to a person, family, company, machine, or nation.
