I remember when President Jacob Zuma warned us about @CyrilRamaphosa . At the time, many dismissed Zuma’s warnings and refused to listen.
Today, I look at South Africa and ask myself: were those warnings ignored at our own peril?
Zuma has repeatedly accused Ramaphosa of abandoning the interests of ordinary South Africans and of being a sell-out. Those are Zuma’s political allegations, and @CyrilRamaphosa has rejected similar accusations against him.
But for me, the question remains: what has this leadership delivered for the ordinary South African?
We cannot keep defending leaders simply because they occupy the highest office in the land. Presidents must be questioned, challenged and held accountable.
