What am I supposed to write here? I grew up on the Prairies. We've moved often; I've been a part of Canada in many provinces. It changes you; new perspectives

Never thought I would have a pinned tweet but this is the one.

Replying to @SylviaJonesMPP
@SylviaJonesMPP is repugnant. Just like @fordnation she is a horrible horrible person.
The Ford government says it is addressing capacity pressures inside hospitals, even as a new report finds a sharp spike in ER wait times is putting patients at risk. The majority of hospitals are also forecasting budget deficits. We ask the health minister about the findings:

Ontario's Health Minister says low acuity ER visits are improving in part because pharmacists (many employed by billionaires close to government like the Westons) - can now treat conditions like dandruff. I've never seen somone seek ER care for dandruff in 25 years.

Over 70% of hospitals are forecasting a deficit. When reporters filed an FOI request with @SylviaJonesMPP to learn more, her Ministry missed the deadline by TWO months. Then, after the FOI rules changed, they claimed they could no longer release the records. How convenient.

Useless photo ops instead of being in the Legislature “attempting” to distract from your scandals. Your government is the least accountable government for the people of Ontario. It’s time to do better!
Today, alongside Premier Ford and Minister Prabmeet Sarkaria, we broke ground on the west section of the Bradford Bypass, part of the future Highway 425 corridor. Once complete, the 16.3 km highway will improve local travel times, reduce congestion, and support continued economic growth across York Region and Simcoe County. Ontario has spent nearly $500M on advertising since 2018, enough to have doubled the number of MRIs in the province.
Full-page ads in the Toronto Star. Great to see the PCs spending money on what matters. Another sign of a government that has lost its way.

At over $29 million, the total cost to the public for @fordnation's Gravy Plane fiasco is $21 million more than incorrectly issued OSAP payments.
#BREAKING: Ontario incurred more than $190,000 in extra fees (plus taxes) associated with its $28.9M private jet purchase, including costs for maintenance, storage and legal services, according to documents obtained by the Globe and Mail. #onpoli

Just got wind that @fordnation's supervisor is cutting all but two outdoor beloved TDSB education centres. In addition to adult education centres and school crisis counseling. If they are stripping schools and hospitals to the bone, where the hell is all our money? #onpoli

Nearly 2 yrs after signing a sketchy $95M deal with Therme for a luxury spa, new concerns keep emerging. Now we’ve learned Therme exaggerated its partnership with Aecon to strengthen its bid, & the Ford government didn't even bother to verify the claims. #onpoli

Last spring, Doug took 5 months off from June until Oct. He then returned briefly but faced with the Skills Slush Fund scandal, he took 3 months off to avoid questions. Now due to the gravy plane scandal, another long Doug summer break is coming soon, folks!

I can’t fucking take it. This is like the 5th story of epic Ford Failures in one day. I dread checking my phone. It’s like living in a dumpster fire of leadership. How’s Doug Ford still Premier after 8 years of failures? youtu.be/6Of6huWAxxg?si=cH6U… #Onpoli #GeneralStrikeON #cndpoli
Ford fails again. Auditor General reports Ford's failure to enforce child and spousal support payments has shorted Ontario families $2.1 billion. At this while struggling parents and their children are lined up at food banks. thestar.com/politics/provinc…

I spoke with my MP yesterday about Billy Bishop, FOI concerns, Ontario Place, & healthcare issues here in Ontario. One thing was clear: these concerns are absolutely being heard federally. If issues matter to you, contact your MP. Calls and letters do matter. They do work.

As Ford misused money to buy a private jet and build an island convention centre and make a gravy plane airport and give skills development funding to strip clubs
Doug Ford lectured students about “misusing taxpayer money” to justify gutting OSAP grants. Now we know the truth: less than 1% of cases were flagged as ineligible, and not a single case was referred to police. The hypocrisy is unbelievable. This is the same Premier who cried about students allegedly buying cologne while spending $29 million of taxpayer money on a luxury jet. Students trying to afford school were never the problem. This government’s priorities are. #onpoli thestar.com/news/ontario/dou…

It appears Premier Doug Ford's office didn't include the costs of HST into the initial public disclosure -- meaning the jet actually cost north of $30 million CAD. Ontario taxpayers were ultimately out nealy $200k in additional costs. #onpoli
