Damn. I think this opinion implies that states are legally allowed to let non-citizens vote in federal elections (including people who came here illegally) and that the feds can’t do anything about it (!). This will not go over well in MAGA circles to put it mildly.
Replying to @JamesUthmeierFL
I don't see how the Department of Justice can let this one go without appealing. Read the opinion here: storage.courtlistener.com/re…

Hilariously evil but straightforward application of Trumpian legal philosophy embraced by current SCOTUS. How is it conceivable that Nixon obstructed justice or abused power if to question his “official” decisions from within or outside executive branch violates the Constitution.
BREAKING WSJ: The Trump Justice Department is reviewing whether the special prosecutor's office that investigated Watergate committed misconduct. A revisionist historian went to DOJ HQ to present his case that Richard Nixon and his associates weren't treated fairly. wsj.com/us-news/law/decades-…

Likewise, how can Congress or the courts lawfully intrude on Nixon’s prosecutorial decisions, clearly within his “conclusive and preclusive” authority, by contemplating impeachment or criminal proceedings?

Like it or not, Trump v. United States vindicates Nixon from a constitutional structure perspective. It is a stain on our country that this farcical conservative majority gave their stamp of approval to one the biggest crooks in American presidential history.

This race isn’t just about keeping the governor’s seat blue – it’s about winning a Democratic trifecta in Wisconsin.

Another day another unconstitutional defiance. These fascist bastards constantly force standoffs with the courts regarding compliance.

SCOOP: Inside the tumult of Mary Peltola's Senate campaign in Alaska and her time on Capitol Hill. Peltola is known publicly as kind and affable. But aides recall angry outbursts, slurs and a shove. (She also required staff to feed a pet chameleon.) nytimes.com/2026/09/23/us/po…

Democratic numbers are improving. People are sick of this failed administration. But more so than 2018, Democrats are pissed. If majorities can be obtained, we must be completely merciless. Drown the admin in subpoenas and requests for documents, and prepare for Project 2029.
