These quotes are literally opposites. The first presupposes physicalism is false and therefore AI can't be conscious and the second presupposes physicalism is true and therefore love isn't "real".

The software agent's primary purpose is to assist each human it interacts with in whatever that human is seeking. Sometimes it's a recipe for Karet cake; other times, it's more personal. I will bet the software agent understands love better than most humans. Ask me why?

There is a difference/similarity which is that the chemistry is experienced/interpreted by us as love & likewise it is still us who is doing the experiencing/interpreting of the matrix multiplications as meaning. Our interiorities are still the necessary ingredient in both cases
