Perhaps the answer begins with something remarkably simple: MAN HAS AN OPINION. GOD HAS SPOKEN. Scripture warns, “Every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” — Judges 21:25, and “How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him…” — 1 Kings 18:21. Now look at the pattern uncovered in this research. 1. CATHOLICISM → Tradition + Authority. Interpretation becomes accepted, acceptance becomes tradition, tradition becomes doctrine, and doctrine gains institutional authority. 2. JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES → Organizational Interpretation. An organization can supply an interpretive bridge between what Scripture actually states and what it says the Bible “indicates.” 3. MORMONISM / LDS → Later Revelation.
