Thanks @RichCimini. I may have to agree about @Prez. He’s been a great player. He said of himself that he was immature earlier in his career. I think he deserves a second chance NY. I don’t know if its would be with Jets. but I know he wants it to be. Good luck JA.

.@RichCimini said he thinks Jamal Adams (@Prez) is "one of the two best safeties in the #Jets' history. He was a first-team All-Pro, he was a Pro Bowl guy, yeah, I know he didn't intercept a lot of passes, we know that, but he was a force around the line of scrimmage. I'd say him & @victorgreen2121 would be my two Jets safeties all time." #JetUp @JakeAsman @BrandonTierney FULL SHOW: youtube.com/live/pZry9yLCCGk…

Prez ngl even if it’s for depth at LB/S, I hope u get 1 shot with Jets. First player I ever met, humble then and you just wanna come home. You just want to be the best in the nation back then and now. Hope nothing but the best for u #Prez

You guys ever think about Marcus Williams

It’s true. Hammer him for how we went out (I certainly did), but simultaneously acknowledge the on-field truth. It’s only fair. In terms of *height of dominance at safety*, he’s No. 1 in Jets history. Short window, sure, but who approaches him? Dominance ranking: 1. Jamal 2. Paulson 3. Rhodes 4. McMillan 5. Baird 6. Green Overall/career ranking (dominance + longevity + team success + all-around team/fan value): 1. Jamal —1st tm AP, 2nd tm AP, 2x PB 2. Baird —1st all-time INT (34), SB champ, T2nd single-season INT (8) 3. Paulson —1st tm AFL, 2x AFL AS, 2nd all-time INT (29), 1st single-season INT (12), but missed the SB team (which would have catapulted him to No. 2) 4. Green —T3 all-time INT, 5th all-time Solo TKL (while breaking his back to do what he could for the Kotite teams — which may have been the first genuine *DB Island*, a gauntlet, last-line-of-defense type) 5. Rhodes —2nd tm AP, T18th all-time INT (15) 6. McMillan —2x PB, T2nd single-season INT (8), 8th all-time INT (22) Notables: -Hudson —SB champ -Leonhard —If you know, you know -Landry —1x PB -Owens —T9th all-time INT (21) -Ray —T9th all-time INT (21) -B.Washington —14th all-time INT (18) -Schroy —17th all-time INT (16), T2nd single-season INT (8) -Hicks —2x PB, T2nd single-season INT (8) -Lynn —T15th all-time INT (17) -Lott —Respect -Dick Felt —No, the man didn’t play safety (CB, instead), but he deserves a quick shout regardless, for completely normal reasons There have only been seven Pro Bowl seasons in history by Jets safeties: —Jamal 2x —McMillan 2x —Paulson 2x (AFL) —Landry 1X —Rhodes absolutely snubbed

Regardless of what you might think about me, I know where my heart has always been and always will be. I left my mark in New York. At the end of the day, you have to respect that. I was one of the best to come through.

He was special
