Yup. I had an item arrive damaged. I went to the store within the *14 day* return window. They refused to return it. I called Gamestop *NEXT DAY*. They refused the return because it was "outside the return window" and had "no proof I was at the store within 14 days" Eff them

"Fall in price quickly?" It was a Weekend drop that no one knew about. Gym Bro had a little SDCC timer. Assuming DDS comes back in stock in EE and BBTS, and assuming it's not sold out a second time, you're going to be paying ~$45 minimum if you want to ensure you get the figure.

Businesses have realized they don't have to wait for aftermarket to charge ebay prices, they can just put them up at $60+ and enough collectors will still pay it. Then they can just discount it later if the figure doesn't sell out.

With the date night skeletor I don't know, but with Gym Bro (who was only $50) custom soft-goods/towel, and custom dumbbells featuring real metal accents, which increased production complexity compared to standard retail figures. And the packaging was really intricate.

It's not worth it. Like.. for a 10/10, five star figure, sure. This... cute little interesting artifact, no. Not worth the hassle. Pay $100 online if you want it. It's MUCH less painful than dealing with Gamestop.

Regardless, I have no doubt in my mind what Burton came up with for Bat 3 would be infinitely superior to the campy homoerotic Forever. What's frustrating about that movie is some things really work! Nicole Kidman, Chris O'Donnell. Even Jim Carrey in Frank Gershin kind of way.

Yup same I just want the minifigs too. And the little minifig Pokemon. Probably only way to get 'em tho. e.g. People are saying "Lego will release cheap Zelda sets with the movie!" Uh, no. Their license with Nintendo is SUPER specific and they released no "Mario movie" sets.

McFarlane has been a mixed blessing. Love the Batman 89 and Nolan trilogy stuff. I've gotten some GRAILS via-rereleases (BTAS Montoya, Bat Cave go for hundreds online). But I HATE HATE HATE the "red label" exclusives.

I'm a fan of both and I still don't get it. The minifigures (and little Pokemon) are all I would really want from a "lego Pokemon" set, but you have to pay $300 to get them. They can't just sell those in a $20 set? They HAVE to do the giant pokeball diorama?
