•Bought a cheap Android with NFC. Cash. Never had a SIM in it and never will, you don’t need one for this.
•Sideloaded Mullvad, connected.
Everything below happened behind it.
•Made a Proton email on the phone.
•Made a Google account on the phone, with that Proton email. No name, no number.
•Signed that Google account into the phone. Installed Google Wallet. Added the card.
•Walked to the corner shop and bought an ice cream. Tap. Done.

This was for people who want a bit more freedom and an extra layer of anonymity without giving up convenience. I know one or two countries where you can still swap XMR or USDT for cash on any street with no kyc. Everywhere else, things look a lot closer to slavery than to anything else. If you already unplugged from the Matrix, congrats, I have nothing for you. If Morpheus or the Oracle come up with something better, let us know.

Some of you don’t believe you can live off XMR
You wrong. YEAH it’s not peer to peer yet - we need to spend time educating people in the area
But here we are spending XMR through privacy gateway to pay for a little home date night
I’ve included my Hubby here because he is very clued up on all this stuff and has changed my life introducing me to such sovereignty
It’s a bit of a longer clip but this is us spending XMR at two different merchants who have never even heard of crypto
By doing this we use South African domestic banks only for paying rent - a massive win for us 💃 ❤️
We haven’t found another service that works in South Africa which allows us to use our XMR
WE ARENT fully crypto native just yet as landlords want South African Rands but atleast we can buy all our food , drinks and going out in XMR
He is super passionate about Monero and says it really takes him back to what he thought Bitcoin was intended to be in the early days
Ofcourse nowadays with chain analysis and regulation around wallet addresses it’s just better to use the best secret money in crypto , and that is XMR

Many of you already know Claude's payment processor rejects non-KYC cards (and a lot of prepaid cards in general).
Tip: if you pay through Google Pay, it goes through.
Installed Claude on the phone I use as my payment wallet, picked Google Pay at checkout, paid with our card. Done. No workarounds.
