A) If you listen to sermons (good) pastors are preaching to their people, I think you'll discover very quickly this isn't true at all. B) You *have* heard more public comments from Christians at the societal / cultural level about it, because (as "crass" as the meme below can come across), this is generally how our culture has functioned for about ~15 years. It is simply unfair to have a culture waterboard your family with various expressions of Queer Theory for two decades, but when you say anything about it, they go, "Whoa whoa whoa... why are YOU so focused on THIS issue!?!?!!?" Simply put: We aren't. You are. It's been in every classroom, TV show, movie, album, school library, marketing effort, HR Dept, professional sports season, June calendar, corporate training, legislative agenda (from one party), etc for ~20 years. And we are sometimes forced to respond to that for the good of society, to disciple our people, and to parent our children.
Why does homosexuality seem to be the only "sin" Christians are concerned with? The Bible has plenty to say about adultery, greed, hatred, lying, stealing, hypocrisy, judgment, and how we treat others.

I hope more conservative Christians get to voting. Here are two unnecessary obstacles I see preventing that. Then there is a third which I find hard to fix. 1. Perceived Powerlessness: The Christian feels that there's no point or that voting and taking action are basically ineffective so why bother. This is easily fixed as thinking of it as a stewardship before God, to contribute your vote and advocacy for love of neighbor as obedience to Christ rather than saying that if you can't singlehandedly change everything there's no need to bother yourself with it. Yes, your vote counts as faithfulness, which is what God asks of you. 2. Inability to Choose Suboptimal Candidates: This is just the way it is. It's not just a "lesser of two evils" choice but a "make things better than they otherwise would be" choice. When choosing a school for your kids you do it. When choosing where to live you do it. When choosing a church you do it. It is the nature of limited choices that causes us angst about non-optimal choices. Just make things better. I no longer ring my hands at this now that I see my job as not maintaining my own purity but as benefiting my neighbors the best I can within the available options. 3. Misinformation and Tribalism: Yeah. I don't currently know how to address this in a wide way. Do your research. Fact check the people you TRUST (that's probably the single best piece of advice I have). And try to keep your priorities in order. Still, those impacted by misinformation and tribalism will likely think it's only other people who have that problem. So, I reiterate, fact check the people you trust and not just by getting Grok to agree with you. Vote like it matters.

He’s already up and playing and eating. Praise God 🙌🏻
Could you guys say a prayer for Link. He woke up early this morning with a fever. Nothing too bad. He’s resting really well and drinking water. But it’s the first cold of the year. Kinda stinky

If Christians actually voted, we would never lose another election.

Muslim turnout in 2024 was about 80% of registered Muslim voters. Christian turnout was about 56% of voting-age Christian adults. The gap is not Muslims outvoting Christians. It is millions of Christians who could vote and do not.

You're supposed to punish wrongdoers. You're supposed to create law and order. When you don't punish wrongdoers, you actually punish innocent people because of what the wrongdoers do to innocent people.

Yes. I also think it’s safer to ride in a flat bed truck than to stand atop a moving limo. That doesn’t mean I think either of those are great choices for daily life, however.
Serious question Do yoo believe Marijuana is safer than alcohol!?

As Christians are we suppose to be involved in politics, minimally voting in politics or not? Follow up question where in scripture do you find support for your answer?

The hardest heart to reach is not the atheist who knows he is lost. It is the churchgoer who is lost and convinced he is found.
