Great to meet UK Foreign Secretary @Ed_Miliband in New York during UNGA week. Inspired by his energy, ambition, and determination to get things done.

These are the people who met with the Islamic Republic’s delegation in New York for the UN meetings. Remember their names: 1- Robert Malley, Biden’s U.S. envoy for Iran, suspended for mishandling and possibly leaking classified information. He led the Crisis Group, which was later tied to Iranians exposed as part of the Iran Experts Initiative, an influence operation run by the Islamic Regime in D.C. 2- Trita Parsi, founder of NIAC and Quincy, was exposed for close contact with Javad Zarif, Iran’s former foreign minister and architect of the JCPOA, Obama’s nuclear deal. He is notorious for undermining the US government policies when it goes against the Islamic Republic's interests and widely hated among Iranians. 3- Farnaz Fassihi, in charge of pushing regime propaganda pieces in The New York Times. She was first to publish the lie that the morality police had been dismantled while women across Iran were still being arrested for “improper hijab.” 4- Negar Mortazavi, a freelance journalist in charge of whitewashing the regime’s crimes across different media. In 2022, she lied about a bomb threat at UChicago to avoid being confronted by Iranian students at a political event. I personally exposed her lie by filing a FOIA request and calling the UChicago police department. A bomb threat never happened. 5- Barbara Slavin, with a long history of advocating for the regime in Iran. 6- Medea Benjamin of Code Pink. She needs no introduction. Meetings with Hamas officials. Delegations to Tehran. Sit-downs with Zarif. Funding from networks now under federal and congressional scrutiny. Senators have asked DOJ to investigate whether Code Pink violated FARA by acting as an undeclared agent of foreign principals, and whether its ties to designated terrorist groups cross into material support.

Sometimes policy works.

Strait of Hormuz flows are hovering at ~13-14 million barrels a day (7-day average). That's about the same as the brief peak in July. But with two notable difference: a) Iranian flows are zero (rather than ~2m b/d); b) all flows are fresh loadings, rather than pre-loaded tankers.
