This work forms part of Wave 6 of IDS-TILDA, commencing in August/September 2025 and continuing for up to six months. Yesterday, we were proud to celebrate Professor Mary McCarron, Director of TCAID, as the inaugural recipient of the Dean’s Award for Distinguished Service to Health Sciences at @tcddublin 👏 This honour recognises her outstanding leadership and lasting impact across research, education, and policy in intellectual disability and ageing. The award ceremony also marked the unveiling of a new portrait of Professor McCarron, commemorating her two terms as Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences—the first woman and nurse to hold the role at Trinity. 🎉 Congratulations, Professor McCarron, on this well-deserved recognition!
