Project-S is an end-to-end space debris and safety platform with space-based radars, autonomous collision avoidance maneuvers, and active debris removal.

Greece ↔ Europe ↔ Bay Area 🚀 Our founder Leonidas Askianakis met the Greek Prime Minister @kmitsotakis at Endeavor Greece’s Bay Area gathering. At Project-S, we’re building bridges between these ecosystems in deep tech and space. More to build.

ESA’s Space Environment Health Index went from ~4 to ~50 in just one year. 4,000+ payloads entered orbit in 2025. The challenge isn’t just tracking more objects. It’s making more high-consequence decisions—with less room for uncertainty. 🛰️ #SpaceSafety #SSA

1,400+ startups applied. Project-S made the Slush 100. We’re building for a problem that only gets harder as space gets busier: making satellite operations safer in increasingly crowded orbits. Next: 60 seconds to make the case for the Top 20. 📷 #Space #SpaceTech #Project_S

Why put radar in orbit when powerful radar already exists on Earth? Because orbital safety today requires exceptional accuracy and ability to detect and recognize the objects much in advance. We're building the solution. 🚀🚀🚀 #Space #SpaceTech #Project_S

6 engineers. 35 days. One space-based active radar payload. 🛰️ ATLAS III went from design → procurement → assembly → integration → testing in Munich. Then we redesigned it. Rebuilt it. Reintegrated it. Tested it again. Now it’s successfully integrated into its host platform. Next stop: launch. 🚀 Built by Sandeep Bastola, Aleksandr Artemov, Álvaro Piccini Romero, Diego Alejandro Cepeda Cuartas, Vladimir Zherebtsov & Azeem Ullah Hasan. Which orbit do you think ATLAS III is heading to? 👇 #SpaceTech #Space #Project_S

Space is scaling fast. Safety has to scale with it. 🚀🚀 The space economy could reach $1.8T by 2035. Launch rates are already 10× higher than a decade ago. If space is becoming critical infrastructure, orbital safety can’t stay reactive. It has to become infrastructure too.

The space economy can only scale if space safety scales with it. At Project-S, we’re building toward an integrated approach with space-based radars, autonomous collision-avoidance, and active debris removal. Comment TECH PAPER on the original post for our detailed research.
Space is becoming infrastructure. Its safety layer is not keeping pace. Today, we are revealing Project-S—and our mission to safeguard space access and exploration. NASA & ESA estimate over 1.2 million debris objects between 1 and 10 cm are already in orbit. The risk is growing. Objects in this range are capable of causing catastrophic damage. If the environment continues to degrade, some orbital regions could become increasingly hazardous—or unusable. We founded Project-S to help change that trajectory. Our vision is space for everyone: an orbital environment where humanity can operate safely and keep exploring. Our mission: Safeguarding Space Access and Exploration. We release our integrated technology roadmap visualized: • Detect smaller debris objects • Model and predict their paths • Support collision-avoidance decisions • Ultimately enable debris remediation Space safety is not another feature. It is infrastructure. We have prepared an extended technical paper explaining this architecture in greater depth and clearly separating current work from the longer-term roadmap. If you are a space enthusiast, a space operator, or just casually enjoying tech trends, what applications of space technologies excite you the most? Thanks to @ZeroOneCreative and @ashkan01C for the concept film 🙏. #Space #Technology #Sustainability #OrbitalDebris #ProjectS
