I have been experimenting with IG, posting times, plots new characters ect, and using trial reels! I have a base now that follows my stories and characters, when I stay consistent with them, they stay with me ;-)
I’m just going to say it: being a platform snob is a great way to kill your own growth.
I used to hate Instagram and Facebook. I thought X was the only platform worth my time. That was easily one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made. When X’s algorithm went to absolute shit, I had no choice but to branch out.
I started posting on IG from December last year. I’ve already crossed 41K followers in less than a year.
If you’re still clinging to X and ignoring the other platforms, wake up. The audience is out there. Go get them.
