I tend to agree, Ngl
American children would absolutely have a BETTER future if Iran had a nuclear weapon because then there's a 0% chance they'd die invading Iran. Trump himself said there wouldn't be an illegal war against Iran if they already had a nuke. The world would 100% be more safe and fewer American kids would die (not to mention Iranian kids)

I would say this even if I were to, somehow, double or triple my income. Principles and values don’t change with your salary.
STOP TELLING BROKE PEOPLE TO BUDGET. THERE, I SAID IT. YOU CAN’T BUDGET YOUR WAY OUT OF POVERTY. If I make $2,900 a month and $2,850 goes to rent, groceries, utilities, gas and insurance… WHAT EXACTLY AM I SUPPOSED TO BUDGET? Sometimes the problem isn’t spending. There simply isn’t enough money left after surviving.

BOOMER: "Nobody wants to work anymore." YOU: "I work 55 hours a week." BOOMER: "At a desk job?" YOU: "Yes. It pays $62,000." BOOMER: "I made $16,000 and bought a house." YOU: "That's exactly my point." BOOMER: "We didn't complain, we just showed up." YOU: "You had a pension waiting for you. I get a 401k match if my employer feels generous." BOOMER: "Nobody gave me anything." YOU: "Tuition was $500 a year. Your starter home cost less than twice your salary. Your job covered your whole family's health insurance." BOOMER: "That's just how it was." YOU: "Right. It was normal. Now it's out of reach." BOOMER: "So you want it handed to you?" YOU: "I want what used to be normal." BOOMER: *silent* You didn't work harder than us. You just worked in a country that still paid off.

Years ago I remember listening to Love line with Dr Drew and they were discussing topics like this.
If you get drunk and consent to sex, you were not raped. You might regret it, but it's not rape. I never thought I would say this, but Sunny Hostin is objectively correct here.

i make $20/h i live below my means and i still struggle. you are majorly out of touch with reality
$20/hr gets you $40,000 a year pre tax A single person with no kids can live a fantastic life on that in 90% of the US I would strive to make more mostly to be able to save, but we take for granted how good we have it
