Sounds like you’ve been secretly working on a leaner version for PulseChain already. What would make it leaner? Would it be powered by ProveX?

Definitely. Sometimes we do get frustrated with the current Railgun structure. But honestly, we’re just trying to build things that we wish existed. We were fortunate to inherit open-source code, and over the years we’ve also learned a lot from actually using crypto ourselves and helping real users through all kinds of problems. When PulseChain ↔ Ethereum was slow or unreliable, we tried to build a cross-chain solution to make it easier. When people were having trouble trading on PulseChain due to wallet level issue, we started building ZKX Wallet to make the experience smoother and more reliable. When people had concerns about fees and liquidity structures, we worked on Liberty V3. When we saw the challenges of bringing privacy infrastructure like Railgun to other chains, we started working on Liberty Shield. When people wanted to trade across different chains without constantly connecting to unknown dApps, we added in-wallet swaps to ZKX Wallet. And when we saw how complicated and risky moving stablecoins across chains could be, we made Liberty Stables free and public for anyone to use. We’re not saying we have all the answers. We’re still learning every day. But if we can’t find a good way to improve Railgun’s UX and infrastructure within the current structure, maybe we’ll eventually try building a leaner version on PulseChain. At the end of the day, we’re just trying to solve the problems we run into ourselves and hopefully make things a little better for everyone. 🙏
