Even more embarrassing to admit that I didn't hear before other songs from her other than "Twist in my Sobriety" Just goes to show what we are fed through algorithms, media marketing etc. It's like there's music out there that you would 100% love, but you will NEVER hear it, unless by crazy, random chance. Because what we "choose" to listen is not even what we really would want. It's.. everything but. Who the fuck knows. Scary thought. For me, among singers/songwriters she's now literally top 3, with best voice, when in somber mood, but yeah, top spots are "taken" blah. Sht, now I'm mad and depressed because of it, but also happy I discovered her other songs at same time. Mixed and familiar feelings. I think I've seen it all now. The retailers have a problem with the cover art for All Is Lost because 'the placement of your name on the cover art reads like "Bottom Rock". Our retailers will require more clarity.' Am I going crazy?

I was going for something nice and slow because most of the tracks are heavy as f*ck, so I had this pretty melody and sweet chord progression and a lovely choir synth and then the universe pointed its finger and said 'needs more power chord' and so I added some power chord and then the universe said 'over there too, buddy' and so I listened because I am a good boy and before I knew it the power chord had taken over and then the universe said 'those nice maladies (sic) sound a bit out of place now, push them all the way to the back' and now I'm stuck with another heavy as f*ck track.
