I’m not sure what Rosa Parks has to do with the Garvaghy Road, but it’s interesting to note that she was descended from Protestant Ulstermen.
Her maternal great-grandfather, James Percival, was from County Down, and her paternal 3x-great-grandfather was from Carrickfergus.
A Rosa Parks Banner has been erected on the stage at Garvaghy Road today.
