HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED IN CRYPTO IN THE LAST 4 DAYS — IN ORDER: → An account called @XRP is created, October 15, 2026 → Its bio says it's run by Ripple and the XRPL Foundation — not a fan page → It stays silent for 4 days — verified, 10,000+ followers, zero posts → 16:08 UTC, October 19 — the first post drops: "hello, world. It's about time." → 6 minutes later, Ripple itself SHOWS UP: "Good to see you here, @XRP." The company that built on the XRP Ledger for over a decade just welcomed XRP's own voice in public. Not a parody account. Not a random teaser. @XRP posted two lines and a 12-second logo — and the whole XRP Army waited. That's the sequence. And the list in that bio tells you everything about what this launch is actually about: → The company behind RLUSD and this week's bank deals → The foundation that backs the XRP Ledger itself → The token both of them now speak for — 8 days before 1,500 leaders hit Swell This isn't just a new account. It's a countdown in real time — and it started 8 days before Swell because XRP wasn't done talking. It's about time. Nobody sleeps. This is only the beginning of the countdown. Many will regret not following me.

⚪ Estremecedor.

how did Bybit not realize they getting hacked... does this answer the question?

Blind signing should be a thing of the past, and we’ve been leading the charge to make that a reality. In the specific case of the Bybit blind signing hack, the third-party software Bybit was using didn’t support Clear Signing. This left users in a position where they had to approve transactions without seeing the full details on their Ledger device. For clarity, blind signing is when a user signs a transaction without being able to verify all the details (like recipient, amount, or contract interactions) on a secure screen, making it vulnerable to malicious exploits. Clear signing, on the other hand, ensures that all transaction details are visible and verifiable on your Ledger device’s tamper-proof screen before approval. That’s why Ledger Live enforces clear signing by default. The problem is that for transactions outside of Ledger Live, third-party platforms—such as exchanges, wallets, and dApps—must also adopt Clear Signing standards. If they don’t, users are left with no choice but to blind sign, which opens the door to phishing and malicious contract exploits. It’s important to note that hardware wallets like Ledger are specifically designed to protect against these kinds of attacks. Your laptop or smartphone cannot be trusted in these scenarios; only your hardware device can ensure your security. But this protection is only effective if Clear Signing is used—without it, the security provided by your Ledger device is essentially limited. This is why we are driving a Clear Signing initiative. We're working directly with wallets, dApps, and blockchain developers to eliminate blind signing across the ecosystem. We need the entire community to join us in pushing for Clear Signing adoption—so incidents like the Bybit hack are history. We strongly encourage users to avoid blind signing and only approve transactions that are fully visible on your Ledger device. Join us in pushing for universal clear signing to make the crypto space safer for everyone. For more information on our clear signing initiative, visit: shop.ledger.com/pages/clear-…

Thats what happend to me and my wallet on my ledger nano x was drained from a transaction a year prior. I just refiled a ticket with Ledger’s legal dept to seeing reimbursement because there wasn't sufficient warning to make me aware of the situation. I hope Ledger will step up

@RIPPLEEFFECT55 We understand how serious and distressing this is, especially with such a significant loss. Please DM us with the transaction ID and details of what happened so we can help investigate the unauthorized transfers and guide you on the next steps.

Thank you! The secret service have followed it to Monero. The trail is dead from there due to Monero's privacy. I'm looking into the Ledger's issues currently to see if it might have been tampered with from the factory where I purchased it directly thru Ledger.

There is no indication that devices purchased on Ledger.com have been tampered with. As threats evolve, we’re strengthening our anti-tampering processes and working closely with our official resellers to ensure these measures are consistently applied. Wherever you bought your device, you can inspect it by following this tutorial: support.ledger.com/article/4…, or contact Ledger Customer Service through our official channels. Always remember: Ledger will never call you, DM you, or ask for your 24-word recovery phrase. If someone does, it’s a scam. Stay cautious and Clear Sign transactions whenever possible.

I WARNED YOU! These are popping up globally. I won’t rule out they haven’t compromised the official ledger supply chain.
🚨LEDGER SPY IMPLANT FOUND IN EUROPE TOO! @0xJohannes_ says a Ledger he bought in store from an official European reseller had extra cables inside. A clean device does not. He says it looks like an older version of the spy implant. @MagicalTux said the antenna is labeled as a Eurasian version, so more could be out there. Reports now include Asia, South America, and Europe. Always buy from the maker.

WARNING ⚠️ GET FUNDS OFF LEDGER ASAP ⚠️ I suspect an entire global sleeper operation is ready to drain on their switch. If you think these hackers just cracked one single ledger reseller you’re beyond delusional. They would have had runners loading these things across the world. Getting them in wherever they can. Even possible insider employees swapping out legitimate Ledger devices sold at real stores. There is simply no way to tell how big this is. No way to know how far they went or how long they’ve been doing this… You could be using an infected device. Consider ledger compromised. Don’t risk it. 🚨Get funds out now🚨 Warn others.

Ledger is investigating reports of loss of funds from users in South East Asia who purchased products from a reseller named CryptoBillis. As a precaution, and pending the results of our investigation, we have asked CryptoBilis to pause all sales and shipments of Ledger devices. We recommend Ledger users who purchased from this reseller in the last 90 days to not initiate set up if you have not done so yet. If you have set up your Ledger device, consider moving assets to a new Ledger signer (with new seed). We will continue to inform customers of updates as the investigation progresses. Reach out to Ledger customer support through official channels with any questions: support.ledger.com/

Flare’s mission is to be the key infrastructure for critical data as finance moves onchain. So far you have only seen one major example of this in FXRP. Soon you will see that the industry trusts Flare for key data where failure isn’t an option.
