I’m taking home their questions, ideas and eagerness to get involved. Encounters like this remind us how important it is to listen to young people when making decisions that affect their future. Our discussions focused on strengthening cooperation, including by making full use of existing EU instruments and programmes, and reaffirming the European Union’s support for Ukraine and its people.

Saranno loro a dover dimostrare che i propri servizi sono sicuri per i minori, senza meccanismi che creano dipendenza, pubblicità mirata o contenuti dannosi. 💻 La tecnologia deve essere un’opportunità per i nostri ragazzi, non un rischio. E l’Europa deve garantire ai genitori gli strumenti per proteggere i propri figli. 🇬🇧 Protecting our children also means protecting them online. 👨‍👦‍👦With the new EU KIDS Act, we are proposing clear rules across Europe: no social media for children under 13, gradual access between the ages of 13 and 15, and, above all, greater responsibility for platforms.They will have to prove that their services are safe for minors, without addictive features, targeted advertising or harmful content. 💻Technology must be an opportunity for our young people, not a risk. And Europe must give parents the tools they need to protect their children.

Quest’anno abbiamo già riprogrammato 15 miliardi di euro per sostenere le imprese europee e rendere i nostri territori più competitivi e attrattivi. 🤝 Ringrazio la Presidenza irlandese ed in particolare il ministro @jackfchambers , con cui continuiamo a lavorare perché le regioni siano sempre più motore crescita e competitività per l’Europa. ✅️Today in Dublin, at the General Affairs Council dedicated to cohesion policy, to discuss cohesion and competitiveness with European ministers. 📈 Two closely interconnected priorities. This year, we have already reprogrammed €15 billion to support European businesses and make our territories more competitive and attractive. 🤝 I thank the Irish Presidency, and in particular Minister Chambers, with whom we continue to work to ensure that regions increasingly become engines of growth and competitiveness for Europe.
