Everyone who has passed and is doing the Postgraduation specially from clinical branch have to do work like this .. but we need to understand that the generation which is coming and doing pg are the younger one and most of them are not mentally prepared to be used to this toxic and tedious residency programme.. The faculty and senior persons expect from these younger one that how they have done their residency their students also should be facing similar conditions and exertion.. So faculty also need to understand that there is huge transition in current generation and their generation thinking ,behaviour and way of working.. we cannot impose the toxic rule just because we have done in our residency programme and still I would say that postgraduate programmes also need to have mental well being programmes for postgraduate students so that they can be timely picked up and addressed timely if someone is going through any sort of mental problem .. As I have done PG thrice ,I had to go thorough all and I also used to thought ki PG karke nikal gaye to matlab life mil gai ..

"mental preparation" is required for the responsibilities. Not to endure the toxic hierarchy, insomniac duties and mundane task filled over-workloads.

Yes definitely there are toxicities but you will have to accept that people entering in PG are not so mentally prepare as we used to do in our time ..because there was more discipline since UG ,now adays people are getting seats at very less numbers and even they don't have to prepare so rigorously..and their mind is not trained for the hardwork and the stress they are going to recieve during their PG session.. Yes there should be ways that no one should be able to press their students unnecessarily Nd must have a system to track the mental health of each and every students
