Shame on you AIIMS Jodhpur. Shame on you heartless creatures. You people forced a young dream filled meritorious child by squeezing him 36 hour shifts with no week off. This is not new to you. Terminate the all responsible people and initiate FIR under abetment to suicide rather than protecting the toxic people. You message will not dilute your criminality . Prosecute the criminals first. All parents are scared now about AIIMS Jodhpur. Are our children safe at AIIMS Jodhpur? Cna you ensure 48 hours duty and a week off? Shame on you violators of constituton and humanity

The toxicity of anesthesia dept took his life. Stop treating pg residents as 24×7 working robots. All pg residents especially 1st yr deserve respect, balanced duty hours and rest. And the gyan of professors that we also faced that juniors should also face should stop. Earlier patient load in all hospitals were less now its more.

2 days too late . Seems like exercise to prevent public backlash. If we are wrong, then pl do share measures taken for resident doctor welfare: duty rota from now on, etc etc

This tweet a insult to the soul of Dr. Rajnaresh...you should have published a official order of not more than 48 hours duty for every residents...with out that even a book full of condolences are mere drama nothing else.

Everyone who has passed and is doing the Postgraduation specially from clinical branch have to do work like this .. but we need to understand that the generation which is coming and doing pg are the younger one and most of them are not mentally prepared to be used to this toxic and tedious residency programme.. The faculty and senior persons expect from these younger one that how they have done their residency their students also should be facing similar conditions and exertion.. So faculty also need to understand that there is huge transition in current generation and their generation thinking ,behaviour and way of working.. we cannot impose the toxic rule just because we have done in our residency programme and still I would say that postgraduate programmes also need to have mental well being programmes for postgraduate students so that they can be timely picked up and addressed timely if someone is going through any sort of mental problem .. As I have done PG thrice ,I had to go thorough all and I also used to thought ki PG karke nikal gaye to matlab life mil gai ..

The old gen need to realise that this isn't 1970s or 80s where facilities were less and even if u made a mistake it went unnoticed there weren't any true consequences. The patient load has increased massively today, cameras and phones everywhere, the residents are overburdened...

Who gave you the right to force 36 hour duties ? Why don’t you hire permanent MO jobs to make up for lack of work force in the hospital ? Permanent job only for nurses ? Answer me

When will the exploitation of PG residents and junior doctors stop ??? How rotten one has to be to the core to think physically and mentally torturing somehow makes them a good physician ?? They are overworked and so severely underpaid without rest days .

@narendramodi - I know you are busy with SC/ST issues at IITB, but please take a moment to set things right here. This will be the fertile grounds for your next SC/ST flare up if not addressed. @JPNadda FYI only. Your premier institutions are being destroyed! Needs empathy!

An appeal to Resident doctors all over India, without hampering emergency duties, pls go on indefinite strike unless an “UNIFORM DUTY HOURS CODE ” is enacted, along with, it should be mandatory and legally enforced ! @AIIMSRDA @RDA_AIIMSJ make the administration accountable !

1 What would we do of your 'expressed sorrow and condolence ?' 2 Terminate Director and HOD from immediate effect. 3 Form a enquiry committee comprising entirely out of JRs from all departments to pinpoint murderers.

Why to have such physically draining long 36hrs shifts? How a person can be mentally fit after working such long nonstop work hours? Very inhumane approach

Only condolences will not suffice. Devise a working protocol for residents so that these kind of unfortunate incident will not occure in future. Junior residents in all govt medical colleges work in a very stressful and inhuman condition in India. @MoHFW_INDIA @NMC_BHARAT

First kill a person institutionally and then stand in solidarity with the victim. Have some shame, AIIMS Jodhpur waalo!! Nothing will change as long as the current director and HODs are there. I hope their kids also go through the same.

These incidents have become repeated. Very sad. Govt should seriously think about it. And for colleagues Most of suicide comes with some hints of excessive stress and person loosing control in form of silence or anger, or sharing. Please bring to a psychiatrist.

Let police investigate. What things you thought to implement so that it never happens again? What decisions you took to decrease workloads?

It’s high time Hospitals of India should realise that not every doctor needs to be present everyday. Utilise your forces wisely and give them the time offs/ non-clinical day as per regulations. They are post-graduate trainees and not Free Labor. Hire other ppl to do Hosp Job.

Dear AIIMS Jodhpur, had you followed your own norms, we would have not lost precious life of a young doctor , an asset of our Nation. Please share duty hour statistics of all departments online on your website to see how much transparent you are and how do you comply with AIIMS diretive.
