This is the other side of the same story. What John Force did before the brain trust arrived. Ten years of nothing. Nine finals. Zero wins. And a refusal to stop that had no rational justification. Ten years is not a slump. A slump is three months. A bad season is one year. Two bad seasons is a trend. Three is a problem. Ten years of national event Funny Car racing without a single victory is a verdict. The sport had rendered its judgment on John Force and the judgment was: not good enough. Over 150 national event victories. The most successful Funny Car driver in NHRA history by every measure that exists. The winningest driver in NHRA history across all professional categories. A career that spanned from a rain-delayed Monday in Montreal to a level of dominance that no drag racing driver has approached before or since. The ten years of losing is the part of the John Force story that explains the thirty-five years of winning. A driver who wins early learns that winning is available. A driver who loses for ten years and keeps showing up learns something more useful: that the only variable he controls is whether he comes back next weekend. Force couldn't control the timing lights. Couldn't control the track conditions. Couldn't control whether the tune-up worked. He could control whether he loaded the trailer and drove to the next race. He did that for ten years with nothing to show for it. When the results finally came, the habit of showing up was already permanent. The decade of failure didn't teach him humility. It taught him that persistence is the only strategy that survives the absence of results. Every championship traces back to Montreal. Every Wally in the trophy case. She is spot on in her assessment of Bosnia and the Mujahideen. And I would like to add some more important details. There were lots of Mujahideen and Al Qaeda fighters flowing from Afghanistan to fight in Bosnia. They were being paid for by several wealthy Saudi’s. The most important one was Prince Alwaleed. He funded them through charities like the Third World Relief Agency and he also gave millions in what was called “humanitarian aid.” He gave $1 million in 1992. $10 million in 1993 and $20 million in 1995. Alwaleed was even awarded the Presidential Medal by Bosnian President Sulejman Tihić. But why was the war in Bosnia so important? Why were the Mujahideen and Al Qaeda fighting a war in Bosnia? Was it just a “religious war” or something much bigger? ANSWER: Bosnia is a “primary transit country” on the Balkan Route, which is the “major corridor” for “trafficking heroin from Afghanistan” into Western and Central Europe.” The CIA under George H.W. Bush created the Mujahideen and Al Qaeda as his personal little army, to protect and facilitate drug trafficking from the CIA’s heroin factory in Afghanistan. The large majority of the world’s heroin supply came from Afghanistan. Bosnia was an important country to control, in order to help that heroin flow from Afghanistan to Europe. And that’s not all. Do you want to know why Albania and Azerbaijan had been at war for decades, until Trump stopped propping up Albania? Same reason there was a war in Bosnia. Our corrupt government supported Albania who took control of an important strip of land that divided part of Azerbaijan. It was a “major corridor” of heroin coming from Afghanistan and through Iran, with the help of Hezbollah, another CIA proxy. That little corridor was a major drug trafficking route into Europe. What happened after Trump helped Azerbaijan finally win the war? “Following victory during last year's Karabakh War, Azerbaijan prevented drug trafficking from Iran to Armenia, and further to the European countries, Azerbaijan’s president said Friday.  "Over the past year, after Azerbaijan had regained control over the 130-kilometer (81-mile) section of the state border with Iran, which was under the control of Armenia for about 30 years, and thereby blocked a drug trafficking route from Iran through the Jabrayil district of Azerbaijan to Armenia and further to Europe, the volume of heroin we have seized in other sections of the Azerbaijan-Iran border has doubled compared to the same period of previous years. This suggests that for about 30 years, Armenia, in collusion with Iran, used the occupied territories of Azerbaijan to carry out drug trafficking to Europe," Trump is cutting off all of these CIA drug trafficking systems. Great to be in Austin for College GameDay this morning, supporting our Texas Longhorns. College athletics is an incredible American tradition. The rivalries, the pageantry, the scholarships, and the opportunities it creates for young men and women are worth preserving. Doing nothing is not an option. Legal chaos and an unsustainable arms race are threatening the future of college sports, particularly women’s, Olympic, and non-revenue programs. If we want to preserve this great tradition for generations to come, Congress must act. The Protect College Sports Act gives college athletics a national rulebook and a stable future.
