Super discovery by @LodhiLab in @Nature today. BCFA, which are #fattyacids derived from #BCAA like #leucine, are metabolized in #peroxisomes as new form of #brownfat #thermogenesis (heat production). Thanks for including us in this multi-year effort 💪
